Not recommended as lawyer she acts like a defense attorney not yours

I like Joni as a person but I would definitely not recommend her as an attorney!
I was going through a divorce and she did very little until the last couple of weeks before the trial. The divorce had been dragging on for 1.5 years and during that time she did very little to provide clarity as to what I needed to have in my defense and she didn't even review the information I did provided to ensure completeness until the last minute. All she did was act as a go between for my spouse's attorney and just passed along their demands. I was left vulnerable and in the dark. After which she even recommended that I fire her and get someone else so I could pursue an extension because I didn't have the sufficient material needed to represent myself. I definitely would have been better off just going to my spouses lawyer and just giving him anything he wanted.

I have never been thru a divorce before. I had an attorney i thought was great, that went downhill. I found Joni And wow. I was informed every step of the way, not only did she fight for me, she got me more than i asked for. I would recommend her to anyone. She deserves more than 5 stars

She will eat your retainer before you even get to mediation and pick fights where there isn't one find a different attorney

Absolutely amazing attorney. She cares more than any other lawyer that I have met and her legal skills and strategy are second to none. She took an impossible case and made it possible. I highly recommend her and often share her name with my friends. You will not be disappointed.

She did a horrible job in my last court meeting, I have to suggest things to her during court not my job. All my retainers have been used up in preparation before the court date and documents were still missing during court.
