Family law solutions is one of best law offices to help you with family-custody matters. I worked very closely with Lisa and her paralegal Jessa for a year to get my matter dissolved. They helped me obtained everything I wanted and deserved by having very detailed and organized data for my hearings. I was dealt a rough couple of cards from a former employer a while ago and it was the first time I had to work in and around the legal system. Lisa and her team were more than willing to help me out. I would not go to this law firm if it was the last option. I made the mistake of hiring them. Lisa Noble was not prepared for trial. She did not prepare any exhibits for my behalf. Nothing. The only exhibits presented was what the other side presented at trial. Lisa did not even challenge the outright lies of my ex wife. You are better off just giving your money to your ex because Lisa will do that for you. She also did some very unethical things behind my back with the court. Hire her if you want to be screwed over.

After my review I received a phone message and an email requesting to change my review by Lisa Noble's partner Gary Hill. The problem is no exhibits were provided to the court on my behalf. I asked and Ms. Noble said she wasn't doing that. I asked Ms. Noble to help out with stuff after the court's decision and her response was that thing have become unworkable with you and I will not do anything else for you. It was her that went to the court saying stuff behind my back and when I asked her about it, it was my problem. The part you are on your own with figuring out how to get stuff to your ex and get her attorney to provide stuff to you. Not cool.

I have been AMAZED Gary Hill, Lisa Noble, and the awesome work of FLS Iowa legal staff. I was never a fan of lawyers prior to working with these folks. They have been TREMENDOUS to work with.

Came off as a really nice guy sympathetic to an abusive situation with ex and trying to modify custodial rights. More often than not we spent the first 15 to 20 minutes reiterating who we were when we sat down face to face (time I am paying). One time asked me if I had 2 girls and other things that didn't apply to me.
When it became clear we were not going to have to go to trial due to ex withdrawing his lawyer and agreeing to work with us we all of a sudden became not important anymore. We knew the end of May he was agreeable to sign and papers were not filed by Gary until August. That is a huge window for someone to change their mind and possibly cause us to go to an expensive and emotional trial!!
I also had contacted Gary on several occasions and didn't hear from him for 19 days..this was after we knew papers were going to be signed in my favor. His response via email was "he has been so busy with trials he had forgotten about my case and needed to catch up".
He ended up using all my retainer and billed me for around $620 also stating he had worked 1 hour on a revised draft I never saw. I did dispute his bill with him. He claimed I was creating a false narrative about him just to get out of my bill. The only reason I even gave a 2 is because at least after forwarding his emails where he specifically contradicted himself and the lack of the draft he revised he did write off my balance. Long story short is I shouldn't have had to use all my retainer when the opposing party was agreeable and we knew early on.

This guy is a scumbag. One month of "work" at $3k, said things were filed when they clearly we're not. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for a lawyer.

I don't normally write review but I feel that Gary has earned it. Mr. Hill has helped me tremendously in winning a child custody case. We all know ugly those can get. He has represented my case very well and has gone above and beyond to win it. He has a lot of experience and has guided me through these tough times in my life.

I can't say enough. I had been out of the country for two years when my marriage fell apart. My wife and I had a 3-year-old son between the two of us. I did not have high hopes that I would get primary custody, not to mention reasonable visitation. Thank God I got in touch with Ms. Noble. She understood right away that my son would not be in the best situation if left with his mother. Ms. Noble never waivered in advocating for sole custody to be awarded to me, even in opposition to a Court which saw things more traditionally. Despite an initial ruling that awarded me primary custody, but in other respects was very unfavorable, Ms. Noble worked tirelessly to convince the Court to reverse itself on some of the more onerous parts of its original ruling. She then continued to advocate for me and my son in the face of continued hostile legal maneuverings from my ex-wife. In the end, I am happy to say that I now have sole custody. Throughout, Ms. Noble conducted herself very professionally, but at the same time remained very personable. She always stayed positive and determined even in the face of what seemed to me to be some significant setbacks. I am ever grateful for the professional as well as personal interest she took in my case, and I have no reservation against recommending her to anyone in a similar position.
