I filed for bankruptcy in 2008. I had my first consulatation with Mr. Hedeyat and after that I worked with his assistant. I had made it clear i wanted to reaffirm with my mortgage, so his assistant put all my info into the computer. all my debts that is. I then saw Mr. Hedeyat at the actual Bankruptcy hearing. At this time the judge asked me if I still wanted to reaffirm with my mortgage, I looked at Mr. Hedayat and said yes and the judge marked something down. Well after a few months when I received my discharge papers i saw my mortgage was not reaffirmed. I called Mr. Hedayat and explained everything to him and he told me I was suppose to do it with my mortgage company. I find this interesting that nobody told me I had to do this on my own and i wonder how i was supoose to do this cause they wouldnt even talk to me because of the bankruptcy. He then told me he can still do it but it would cost me another $500.00 to reopen the case and I obviously didn't have the money so here I am in 2013 and not reaffirmed with my mortgage and still living in the house. I would not recommend them to anyone and have told many people about my situation who were considering filing bankruptcy and using the. A little bit of advice would have been nice but I feel like to many people involved and nobody told me what I really NEEDED to know.
