Works well with opposing counsel to help their agenda and get donations for her election campaign. Most of her good recommendations come from other lawyers for obvious reason

I was referred to Attorney Barlow, and I am extremely grateful that I hired her. She was completely professional from start to finish. She was honest about the realistic journey ahead of us, but assured me that she would fight on my behalf until the end. And she did (2 years!). Aside from legal representation, at times she filled the role of counselor and friend. With a heart for the people, Attorney Barlow is a blessing for those already going through difficult times. She is undoubtedly on her way to becoming more influential in this space.

Set a $200.00 consultation with her based off the 5 star reviews. She was almost 45mins late which she apologized for but didn't seem to have any compassion to thoroughly hear my case. She seemed knowledgeable however I felt she would work better for the opposing side simply because she spoke about ways she could hurt my case vs. how she could help my case. She's more interested in helping "Fathers" prove whatever kind of case they may need vs. fighting for the child's best interest. I'm a mother whose dealt with several lawyers over the course of about a year in regards to custody for my son and I've had overall really great experiences with the ones I've chosen. I've been out of a lot of money for lawyers whom, in my own opinion, are very well worth it (one of which went on to be a judge). I called Ms. Barlow's office to ask additional questions that I did not get a chance to ask during the consultation and never received a phone call back. I absolutely can NOT have dealings with an unorganized attorney - huge pet peeve for me! I'm really big on communicating in a timely manner and being on time for meetings we schedule. That is the easiest way I can determine if I'll go any further with an attorney. I've been super emotional during this entire case but I've also came across some understanding and supportive lawyers THANKFULLY! In my search to find a new attorney (with experience in family law), respectfully, I don't think Ms. Barlow is worth the money she was asking due to her unwillingness to provide a clear understanding for what she can actually DO for me as HER client. I felt I would basically be paying her to mediate, only because that was her overall position during the consultation and for that reason I wouldn't feel confident going into a courtroom with her as my attorney.

Maria was amazing. My divorce was very stressful. She listened. She stood up for me in court. She did what she was said that she would do. She was very effective in communicating what to expect and what was required of me. She is clear, direct and professional. She made herself available and I could always, call, text or email her. Lastly, she is knowledgeable about the law and negotiated my case accordingly. She represented me well and I am satisfied.

Attorney Barlow portrayed excellence. I'm so happy with the experience that my husband and I encountered from her service. She was reasonable and made sure we that we understood what she could do for our situation. She's not the type of lawyer that sells you a dream just to receive payment. I would hire her again and definitely recommend her services for any one in need. She knows her stuff❤

I have never met an attorney quite like Maria. Not only is she compassionate about her work, she is diligent beyond her requirements. A rare quality these days. I retained her services in regard to some out of state traffic violations in which the prosecutor was trying to charge as criminal offenses. I had given Maria full power of attorney to dispose of these charges in what ever manner she deemed to be appropriate. Any other attorney would have simply accepted the misdemeanor charges and probation (which would be on my record) then sent me the a list of the fines and court costs. Maria not only would not "just accept that", she went to court a second time and got all charges totally dismissed. Her legal prowess is exceptional. She does not let prosecutors bully her! She is a lawyer that will fight for you no matter what the case is. Her fees were extremely reasonable and her results were impeccable. I will recommend her to everyone I know.
