i am sorry to say that ND Law Clinic is a huge disappointment.
They lead you on with high hopes, then slam the door in your face. There were many ways the Clinic could've assisted me, but their lack of knowledge and experience is a shame. Seems that the ND Law Clinic just wants small simple cases that are a for sure win to make them look good. Example being: When the Clinic stated that they could have a great case against one of my prior attorneys, but the statute of limitations prevented them from doing so, i then proved that the statute of limitations was still open and the Clinic suddenly took the cowards way out by stating that it's possible that the attorney was doing their best after all.
I have plenty of ammunition to fight several battles or i would've never survived 10 years pro-se. As my funds were being sucked dry by the court system, someone mentioned i should contact Notre Dame Legal Aid, but unfortunately ND Law Clinic just doesn't have what it takes. I only wished Prof. Fox had more knowledge to teach her students, as i fear she is just setting them up for failure.
I was at a complete loss when TaxAct messed up my taxes and the IRS came after me. They helped me sort everything out and deal with the IRS. They made my problem so much easier. Will return if I have to... but I really hope I don't have to lol This experience also gave me insight on doing my own taxes versus paying an online tax "service" to do it.
Pro Tip: just because you pay a tax service an extra "peace of mind" fee doesn't mean they have a customer service department that will help you in case something happens.

Very professional legal aid. Nice to see they offer a low income based service to the community.
