My only regret is that I didn’t have Aaron handle my divorce case from day one. I actually had two attorneys prior. Both made promises they didn’t come close to keeping and mishandled my case. I mean, one called me by the wrong first name for six weeks. It was like night and day difference when I hired Aaron. I was almost a year and a half into the divorce, with no progress towards an end made whatsoever. He inherited a mess. But even then, he handled my case for less than two months total and helped to get my divorce finalized. Seriously, most attorneys and this system are disheartening, to say the least. Going through a divorce is stressful and difficult. Having a trustworthy and caring attorney made such a huge difference. Plus he’s rational, intelligent, and really good at working with people and within this court system. He’s no miracle worker. It is still unpleasant to go through a divorce, but I’m telling you, it’s 100 times easier to have Aaron as your attorney. You can trust him, both that he cares and also that he knows what he’s doing. I’m very thankful for his help. If you’re going to be going through a divorce, I can’t recommend Aaron enough. This is the attorney you want on your side.

Dan Sczesny is an outstanding attorney. He represented me in a child support adjustment case. Prior to hiring Dan, my ex-wife was making unreasonable demands (bordering on threats) for additional money. We had a fairly unique support situation in our initial dissolution and the adjustment details needed to be resolved fairly. Dan explained the process clearly and concisely. He's very professional, matter of fact and tells you the details you need to hear. He get's straight to the point and doesn't waste time. Communication was excellent, mainly through text and email (which is great for me), with a few phone calls and an office meeting for the more detailed work. Most importantly, the outcome of the case was fair and exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend hiring Dan.

At the hearing, Mr. W testified that while he
admitted to the detective that he had had sexual contact
with his cousin, a minor, he had lied to the detective.
He also had admitted to Dr. Cassell from the Court
Diagnostic and Treatment Center that he had had sexual
contact and conduct with several of his cousins.
In addition, the defendant's cousin, AB
testified that he had had sex with her on many occasions
while she was a minor.

Mr. Groth is a very well respected criminal attorney
practicing in Lucas County. He had a client that had
admitted to the activity in question to the detective and
negotiated a plea from a potential life sentence to a
felony of the third degree, which would include the
possibility of probation. The competency of Mr. Groth's
actions are not in question.

It is never an easy situation working with lawyers but Aaron Misthal and his team made the experience pleasant and remedied each situation very well. I would recommend them for multiple legal needs.

Hired Stephen Groth for a Criminal Case in 2013-2014 facing life in prison on 2 felony charges. After paying $15,000 as a retainer and $2,000 for a PI (strongly recommended by Groth) we found his services to be ineffective. After promising to contact witness, he did not. He claimed he would prepare a trial again, did not. To top off the experience he sent me a text saying "Your method will fail and you will spend life in prison. Nearly? 99.999 percent. Your "IDEA" while maybe well intentioned has sent you into this. There is no arguing this on Tuesday. You want a trial? I dont want your trial fee. 65 years of experience told you this for 2 hours yesterday." On trial day, Groth had refused dismissal and claimed (what I know now to be a lie) that the Judge will only revoke my bond and I'll sit in jail until the matter is resolved. After telling him I want to go to trial then, he further stated he did little to no investigating and that I have to enter the plea. Also, that if we go to trial I will lose and my daughter will grow up calling someone else daddy. In short, Groth was unprofessional and a criminal for what he had done to me. Online his "Client Reviews" give him 5 out of 5 stars. It sickens me to know that Groth is still practicing law. Lastly, I am looking to criminally charge Groth for said acts, if anyone has had this or similar happen to them or a loved one please contact me so we can help build a case together. Thanks. I give him a one star rating only because I have to in order to post.
