Unprofessional closing. Spend the extra few dollars.

Excellent and Honest lawyer. I spoke to Atty Gregory regarding a landlord tenant issue. She gave me very good advice even without charging money and told clearly about the law. Great lawyer. If I have any issue next time I will definitely go ahead with her.

Yona represented my buyer in a real estate transaction and was fantastic to deal with. Before the closing she got right back to me with timely answers to my questions (which isn't always the case in real estate until the last minute). She also answered my clients questions clearly and walked her through the process. My client felt very comfortable and the process could not have gone better. Attorney Gregory and her staff handled my closing. They answered all my questions when I emailed or called, always got back to me timely, had all the documents prepared and ready to go at the closing. I was very pleased, and would recommend her office. There are so many papers to sign at a closing and her office was organized and made the transaction very efficient.

My experience wasn't the greatest, however I was on the opposing side. Still she could've been a bit more warmer to communicate with, especially since she winded up not even being the one to show up to court and sending another attorney. I understand we're dealing with law, but we're dealing with human beings too and for me that matters.

Convenient downtown New London location. Flat rate fee, but there were supplemental charges.

I used yona for a closing on one of my many properties and it was the absolute worst experience that I have ever had in my entire life. Her and her staff were extremely unbelievably rude. They have no respect for their clients what so ever!!! I had to call them repeatedly for updates in my closing. The receptionist always said they was busy and would call me back and never did. They are very unprofessional and I warn everyone, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS FIRM UNLESS YOUR IN NEED OF EXTRA STRESS AND LOOKING TO BE DISRESPECTED!!!!

I have retained Attorney Gregory a couple times. Initially to do a closing on a house. Yona and her team were comprehensive and kept me informed the entire time. I subsequently hired her again to negotiate a commercial lease. She was not only very patient and extremely thorough, but she covered things that I would have never thought of. Totally worth it and highly recommended.

We called Yona Gregory's office to inquire about assistance with a small claims case. Being from NJ and having an in incident occur in Connecticut, we felt it was best to get advice from a Connecticut lawyer. Since her website clearly states, under their "Other Services" section, that they are "pleased to extend flat fee pricing to small claims matters", we thought they would be very helpful to us. However, when we called their office the secretary tell us "we only handle real cases". Really!?! Our case which was us going after someone that owed us $2000 for damage to our car and was going unpaid, sure seems like a real small claims case. And even if they didn't want to take this case, you would think their office would be a lot more professional than to say something like that to a potential client. I would obviously never consider going back to this lawyer for any type of representation, whether the case is "real" or not.
So be warned before you call their office. This lawyer obviously feels that they are above small claims cases even though they clearly advertise for them on their website and does not treat potential clients with any courtesy. A not welcoming feeling from this "professional" lawyer.
