I called the office and talked to a woman named Ashley who answered the phone. Ashley was very sweet soft spoken and was very easy to talked to and she did inform me that she wasnt sure if the law office handles cases like mine but did state that if the lawyer wasnt able to take my case he may try to refer me to another law firm or he will help me as much as he can. She transferred me to Attorney Weigand who stated their office really didn't handle this certain issue. However he took 20 mins to talk to me and was beyond helpful. I can't thank Attorney Weigand enough he knew I really needed help and I was so upset depressed and overwhelmed. My husband had been injured at work and was under a doctor's care while collecting worker's compensation. It was a rough time because of course you only receive 40% of your income. Blair did an awesome job! I was in an auto accident and suffered a mild back injury. He explained everything to me so I could understand the process and all my options. I will say you need to be patient and let things take their course but it will be worth it. At our last meeting he showed me a document of the final outcome. At first I thought there must have been a misprint on the line that showed the amount that I was getting. However, Blair assured me the figure was in fact correct. I called Peter Goldberg in a crisis situation. I can't say enough good things about him. I got such a good feeling about him from the 2 conversations I had with him. In June 2012, I suffered an injury while employed by Macy's selling women's shoes. I herniated L3/L4 disk and was scheduled for surgery in September 2012. Everything, at least I thought, was going smoothly. I was receiving weekly checks and never was I concerned about necessary medical attention. The day before my surgery, I received a call from the neurosurgeon that the procedure had not been approved by Macy's. So I felt it was the time to seek legal representation. I simply went to the phone book and saw the ad for Goldberg & Weigand. Loved the logo and got the feeling "Justice for All" so I gave them a call. Next I knew Peter was meeting me at my home to personally go over the facts and requested some background info to open my case. Probably one of the best decisions I could have made. I got the surgery, was still getting checks, etc. No doubt a back injury is either good or bad but unfortunately for me, my outcome from surgery wasn't what I had hoped for. I will be honest in saying that at several moments I questioned my decision for this firm. It was probably due to the fact I was nervous, alone, hurt, confused as to why cases like mine go on forever, but Peter was always there to lets say "soothe the soul".
