Before even becoming a client of his, Peter showed grace and was kind enough to walk me through a lot of judicial steps, putting my mind at ease. His counsel and knowledge was awesome & super helpful. Thanks for everything Peter.
Peter Carini represented my in a dui case in 2005. I was filing some paperwork for licensing and saw his name as my representative and after all this time still felt it necessary to share my experience.
He had come to SOU and spoke at a criminal justice class and when I received my DUI he was the first name that came to mind. Even though this was only 15 years ago, the resources for finding a good attorney aren't nearly what they are today, so I scheduled a meeting.
He sold me very well in our initial meeting as a seasoned courtroom pro and that my case was easily winnable. In fact, he had just won a case in grants pass (he said at the time, never verified) just like mine. When he told me the price he could tell by my reaction that I wasn't going to go for it so he laid the pressure on thick. Why wouldn't I fight it? What it would do to my record? The time and money it would take if I'm charged..
When it was all said and done he represented me, but to say he was unprepared would be an understatement. There were literally MULTIPLE times in the courtroom this guy couldn't even remember my NAME (he had to refer to his papers, no joke), much less the specifics of the case. The defense was uninspired, delivered in a relatively monotone manner. By the end of the trial I would've found myself guilty. It was absolutely ridiculous.
I'll admit he definitely took me in that initial meeting, I'm just writing now after all this time because it needed to be said. Also in hopes that it doesn't happen to anyone else. I only give him a second star because he was good enough to at least screw me over :-)

A family member was facing serious charges. After interviewing several local attorneys they were told, "It doesn't look good..." They chose Pete Carini who succeeded in getting the charges dropped and/or significantly reduced and probation. Carini was a life-saver to the family-highly professional with good connections and negotiation skills.

If ever you are in a DUI situation this is the ONLY attorney that you want to call!
I was arrested in Eagle Point, Oregon for Duii. Told them I wanted to speak with an attorney. Called Mr Carini at 11:30 PM expecting to get an answering service.
He answered the phone! Was I ever Amazed...
He spoke to me in a calm (I was not) and very confident voice. He explained to me everything that was going to happen and how to behave and what to say.
I did exactly as he told me and walked out of that jail with NO charges!
Thank You Mr. Carini

Mr. Carini is amazing, I highly recommend him. I got into some trouble I'm not so proud of in May 2017, and to be quite honest I was terrified about the trouble I just caused myself. But I paid Carini & he went in and got the job done..brought it down from a Class A misdemeanor to a violation charge. Huge relief, and I didn't need to appear in court either. Which in my case was great since I moved to Texas. Big thumbs up!

Peter Carini was the best attorney I could have ever hoped for! Not only was he extremely professional, but he was able to explain my situation to the judge in a better manner than I could have ever done. At times I was not very easy to get ahold of, but no matter what Peter went above and beyond at every corner to make sure I knew what was going on, and understandstood that I was on a very limited budget at only age 18. In the end when all was said and done, I was ecstatic with the outcome of my case!

Peter is wonderful at what he does. He is passionate about the law and takes very seriously his stewardship making sure it is applied fairly . His experience & knowledge coupled with exceptional communication skills create the attorney/client relationship necessary for a positive outcome. After initial consult you know you made the right call and moving forward with peace of mind. Can't win if you don't call him!

I'm a grad student and I got into a situation in southern Oregon with some crooked people. Peter walked me through every step and told me exactly what to expect (best and worst) and helped me meticulously prepare accordingly. I was so scared of the impacts on my professional career. Peter was 100% confident and honest with me. He defended me fully with empathy as if it were his child on the line. All wrongs were made right and I can't thank him enough.

I have used Peter as my attorney a couple times and the knowledge he has is very comforting. He was able to help me through my process and made the whole thing a lot easier! I have known Peter for several years and I wouldn't ever recommend anyone else to represent you in your time of need. He is very professional with an amazing presence in the court room. I happen to know that he is very well respected by his clients, the law enforcement community and other attorneys in the community. I wouldn't ever think of using any one else!

Though I havent been represented by him, yet. Peter was able to keep me focused and calm down while being accused of some inflammatory things I had no part in. He spent great lengths of time with me on the phone, not only caring enough to ease my mind, but also speaking about my case in length. I called probably about every attorney in town and he was by far the most personable, and genuinely kind one of them all! I hope I don't have to utilize his services (in other words I hope my case is dropped), but if I do need to I know I'll be in good hands! Thanks Peter!

Though I have not had the honor to have Mr. Carini as my lawyer he has made me comfortable and confident in my case. In one phone call we felt as though we had someone that could and WOULD help us as well as a friend. as an assault victim i didn't know what to do when they tried to turn the table on my witness and myself. I am Very thankful for Mr. Carini as for he is not just a lawyer but a wonderful person with a big heart. Thank you for your knowledge and expertise.

Peter Carini, isn't just a dedicated and knowledgable attorney, he's a compassionate and honorable man. He helped me when no one else in the justice system would. And he did so solely out of kindness and integrity.
I was both the victim and the mother of the perpetrator so my son's public defender would not speak to me (actually hung up on me twice) and the DA's office would only help me as the victim. Exasperated and with nowhere to turn, I contacted the president of the Jackson County Bar Association, with the intention of filing a complaint against my son's attorney. I did not expect to actually speak with the president, and I certainly did not expect him to spend an hour on the phone with me, listening to my concerns, answering my questions, comforting me, looking up my son's public records, even converting them to PDFs and emailing them to me. And when I had more questions after reading those documents, Mr. Carini answered each one thoroughly, providing a full-page of invaluable information, with links to helpful online legal resources.
Were it not for Mr. Carini's time and assistance, my son could be facing jail time, hundreds of dollars in fines and a permanent charge on his record, all because his attorney failed to adequately prepare and educate him with the critical information he needed to understand the charges brought against him and the potential consequences associated with those charges. Mr. Carini went above and beyond his duty and gave my son his life back.

Don't waste your time or money. He spent nearly zero time on my case (maybe an hour and a half), told me I would be in jail for 3 days (imagine my surprise when I was sentenced to 30), and neglected to inform me of ANY of the potential ramifications of this judgment. First time charge.
30 days in jail, 3 years on probation, 1 year suspended license and thousands of dollars in classes, and a breathalyzer on my car for months. I didn't know of any requirements that I had to meet on my release to get my license back and to avoid being arrested.
All for the low, low price of 7,000.

If you are in need of an attorney, Peter Carini is your man! I can't express how comforting it was to know that we had such a great attorney on our side during the trial. Peter knows his stuff and is extraordinary to watch in action. He's so knowledgeable about DUII testing and training that he was actually showing the officer how to read his own manual. Our case ended in our favor, but even if it hadn't, I truly believe Peter did everything possible for us and we were in excellent hands. I would 100% recommend Peter Carini!! Thank you Peter!

Love this Man!!! Worth every penny and more!! My husband was pulled over and accused of a DUII after waking up at 1 in the morning to pick his brother up from the bar and he was the SOBER one arrested for DUII. Peter know his stuff, and the Jury came back with a NOT GUILTY verdict. Such a HUGE weight off our shoulders! Thank you so much!
