Matthew is by far the best attorney I've ever worked with. And I work with attorneys through my job on a daily basis almost, so this is really saying something!

He is attentive and understanding, and truly cares about finding the best resolution for his clients, even if that's not always the one that's going to make him the most money. Many attorneys get into their occupation for the perks such as the power or paycheck, but I truly believe that Matt is the rare kind who got into his line of work to make a difference, and I highly commend him for that.

I actually looked on the Oregon state bar website at one point before my case was even resolved, to see if there was a way to compliment great attorneys on his behalf and help him get the recognition he deserves, but all I could find was info on how to make a complaint (kinda sad , but I guess that says something about how few people actually feel so impressed by an attorney that they would like to get them that kind of recognition). I suppose this review will have to do.

If you're looking for an attorney to help you in any of the types of cases he might be able to take (mine was related to debt collections, although I'm not at liberty to go into details of the case), you should be banging down his door (figuratively speaking, of course, lol), if you need someone great to represent you!

He might ask a lot of questions, but this is just so that he can gain a full understanding of your situation. Sometimes we don't want to go into all this detail with someone we barely know, but I promise you that it's worth it to stick with him and honestly answer all of his questions and gather all of the info he asks for. This is him doing an exemplary job as your attorney so that he can make sure he's taking the proper steps for your case. So many attorneys don't take the time to do this, and cases can suffer because of it. He also responds to emails very quickly, which was great in my case (except for weekends, even great attorneys have to have some family time too ).

If you're seeking an attorney, this probably isn't the happiest time in your life, but Matthew will do everything he can to help you get started fighting whatever it is that you're needing help with, and this is going to make the stress of your situation so much more manageable! He plays well with other attorneys and will keep you in the loop on what is happening with your case always.
