Allyson is amazing!! She was always on top of my case and she always came through. There was not a question or situation that I had that her and Lee did not have a solution for. I recommend her to anyone who asks for an attorney who is knowledgeable in the family court systems and ever changing laws. Horrible lawyer. We had what she called an "easy divorce" her assistant couldn't take notes for anything. We told her EXACTLY what we wanted and still screwed it up, which we had to pay for again. Do not see her..you can count on paying over double what she tells you.

Terrible attorney - she and her assistant are slow and incompetent. I did most of the work myself, tried to fire her and she said "oh just let me finish this part". Waste of time and money. Look for another attorney!!

Attorney Misevich and her paralegal Lee gave me the voice and representation I needed in family court. I only wish I had met them sooner. Attorney Misevich is excellent and knowledgeable, and stays current on changes to Illinois family law. She handled my case with great attention to detail, and guarded my rights as a parent. In almost two decades of contentious litigation in and out of court, I finally left the court room smiling and satisfied with the representation I was given.

I am so glad I hired Allyson. My divorce case had been in limbo for quite some time. When I hired Allyson to continue my case, she helped me with my goal of wanting it to come to an end. My ex's attorney was rather cut throat, and didn't seem to care about ethics. I really appreciated that Allyson upheld morals (that I came to know we shared) and kept it clean and respectful, yet got the job done. I was blessed to have come across Allyson during my search for an attorney at the onset of my divorce process. Allyson not only took the time to meet with me one-on-one, but I left her office feeling confident I would be protected fully, as the process began, by a woman who bases her life upon faith and helping others.
As the process has unfolded and time has gone by, I found I was absolutely correct in my first impression. At first she seemed very nice like she was all about getting my case done. I ended up going through a standard divorce without children and the case took almost two years to finalize. My ex and I were both mostly agreeing to get this case done and there was no debt, children, or property. She never returned phone calls and only up until I REPEATEDLY called her did she ever return them. She called off two cases once everything was ready to go and did not take any action in promoting the case to go further. In fact my ex's lawyer ended up having to give me the advice to counter-petition. She is not helpful at all and stalled off my case. She also drug out the most of my finances that she could and then when it came to making payments said she needed the full amount up front. She was also NOT willing to work with a payment plan at all. She has been overall EXTREMELY rude and I was surprised that my lawyer was actually siding with my ex as well. When he had missed court dates she ended up saying that he did not have to pay and that she was not going to fight for it. She did get the case done... So I guess if you have two years to drag a case out and have her take your money than she's a go getter but... In my case... I would never refer her again. I was just saddened to see that someone I had invested money with treat me so poorly.

I have the opportunity to work with a great deal of attorneys on a day-to-day basis. It is rare to find one that is as deicated to their clients as Allyson is.
