I must say that this has to be the best law firm in Wisconsin. I am an out of state driver who was accused of an OWI 1st and a refusal. I contacted several attorneys the day after the incident and Tracey was the only one that instilled a since of confidence in me. I was sure this was the right practice to help me.
The firm immediately started working on my case and sent me copies of all the reports and videos associated with the incident for my input and filled motions in my case. They answered any questions I had with the patience and really took the time to listen which is something that is very welcomed during one of the most stressful moments of my life. They really made me feel that my case was in the best possible hands and that they actually cared about my outcome.
The attorney in charge of my case was Sarah Schmieser and she was amazing. Her knowledge of my case and her advice gave me a newfound confidence that I would have a favorable outcome to my case. She was always ready to answer any questions and provide me with all possible outcomes of my case.
We initially received an offer from the D.A. that was good but not great. After consulting with Sarah, I decided to not take the offer as I knew that if I fought the charges I had a very good chance of having them dismissed. After advising the D.A. that we would not take the offer, he contacted Sarah a few days later and stated that after reviewing the evidence he decided to dismiss the refusal and reduce the OWI to a lesser charge. Talk about nearly $20,000-$30,000 spent with this firm and no results. We worked hard to get the money for this lawyer and our money and as well as my family member were taken advantage of. Instead of you owning up to your lack of work and knowledge in criminal cases you rather deny the fact that you are robbing people out of their money. If you are looking for a honest, hard-working lawyer to help you beat a criminal case please look further Tracey Wood is NOT the one!

This law firm reviews appear to be great for owi cases only however, not for criminal cases. My family spent thousands of dollars with this firm and our money was mishandled due to lack of communication. When we hired Tracy we never knew so many hands would handled my son criminal case. His case went through multiple attorneys that were assigned to his case without our knowledge. Over the past two years his cases was handed down from new attorney to new attorney. which caused lack of work completed and money spent for poor services rendered. We paid fees for an investigator only to find out that the investigator credentials were not checked out and their were conflicts so we lost our money in that area. Lastly, outside of what this firm tells you, they are unreachable by phone when clients call from jail
