I worked really hard, it felt sometimes that I was neglected by Leah. She seemed to take a lot a cases at that time, making her very busy. The only way to reach her is by email or her calling you when she has something to say to you. Calling the office will only get you the receptionist and voicemail. There was a point in time where I got so frustrated that I had to actually tell her over the phone to see what I was doing for myself. After that conversation she finally realized what she had to do...represent me!
I was diagnosed and she finally understood what I was going through. The case went on and it was resolved. I was very grateful for what she had done. I felt really good at that point. I was sent a letter explaining my representation and judgement.
I called with a question on my driving status, the receptionist would find out and get back to me, she did. They told me nothing was wrong and to contact the dmv. The dmv said I was denied and had to go to court. I asked Leah for some advise... just information. I assumed attorneys would know given she has represented many dui cases. She told me she was unable to help since she had a personal matter to attend to, I asked if any other other attorney’s knew anything. She said they’re all to busy. Ok...I was frustrated again. I felt I couldn’t count on them to find out. She thanked me for informing her on this and that she would know this for future clients. I had to do it myself, I kept on contacting the dmv and finally I got a result when I talked to someone at the courthouse. It was simple file an application, see the judge and give the notarized letter to the dmv. I got everything in order and got my work license.
This was an achievement for me because the months going through my case I had traveled by bus day in and day out. I was stunned that a law firm did not know this or just didn’t care. In the end I am doing much better. I think the best thing she ever said to me was I needed to work hard and be an advocate. I did and it shows.
I felt that the service provided was ok and it was just another case. I have no regrets hiring Leah. Word of caution, it all depends on your effort.

Your telephone call today, indicating that my case had been dismissed, nearly one year after we first met, is one that I will never forget.
Thank You to and your team for the professional representation you provided in the matter of my unpleasant encounter with the Milwaukee Police Department.
From the very beginning of our professional relationship the lawyers in your office provided an excellent overview of what I could expect, how your office handled cases like mine and what the possible outcomes could be. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to visit with me while I was incarcerated also.
As the legal matter proceeded in court I also appreciate your efforts in securing a bail reduction; your communication with me as the matter progressed, and ultimately, the skill you demonstrated that resulted in the case being dropped against me. Dismissed
While I do not expect to be in the Milwaukee area anytime soon and I do not have any friends who may avail themselves to your professional services, I want it to be known that if I were in a position to recommend a criminal defense attorney in your area, I would recommend you and your office without any hesitation whatsoever.
I sincerely appreciate the work you performed on my behalf and I thank you again for your all that you did for me.
Sincerely,
Michael Taylor
Long story short, Craig was able to guide me to the right people to help me with my situation outside the legal situation, handle the legal stuff professionally in the background, while keeping me informed with accurate, but honest, assessments of where we stood at any given time during the process. His reputation within the Waukesha court system was also extremely helpful when it came to informing the court about my addressing of my issues and my progress in dealing with my struggles. I did my part, honestly and openly, and he was able to convey that truth without them questioning or doubting his motives or honesty. When all was said and done, I had found a great support system through the recommendations of Craig, which I still unitize, and he, to use lawyer speak, beat the DA's felony charges and recommendations for jail time.
So while I still have to be careful in the future, as I have used up all my slack with the state, I have no doubt my future will be fine, thanks to all Craig's efforts and the support system he lead me to. He was a blessing more than he knows, and more than I will ever understand. So, again, I say thank you, and highly recommend Craig and his associates, especially to those who are as naïve about the system as I was, and finding themselves facing an arrest for a crime. Just be sure to contact him BEFORE they file charges and before you say ANYTHING the police, so he can begin fighting on more level ground than he had to with my situation. Best to remain silent and allow your lawyer to convey what you want to the court, than you doing so alone to the police. Once again, my thanks to Craig and his law firm for everything.
