Lost my case twice

No communication from no one left multiple msgs medical examiner’s told me to fire.Could not get my files 3 weeks. Been in ex curating pain 3 surgery one year blood transfusion no one will help me.

Pretty useless when it comes to communication, getting files and helping you get a case organized. My paperwork from my doctor's flat out said I have no further improvement and yet they still could not seal the deal. They waited a week before I needed to appeal to dump my case so I could not have time to figure anything else out. Dont waste your time. Go with a small business, these billboard lawyers are just that. You will be treated like a number.

Just reached out to Tabak Law for information and assistance with a service connected disability claim. The paralegal that was assisting me was so blahh, no personality and came across as if she was reading a manuscript with No understanding of the VA process.

In my opinion, staff could use more training, and the few minutes I invested with them was not pleasant. Discussing traumatic moments, injuries, and gun fire exchange experiences with someone who gives off impression they don't care is not a good feeling.

I do NOT recommend this law firm. I had to fire them because Roni could not answer basic questions about work credits. I also had to spend 3 hours waiting to see a Social Security officer just to get a new appointment to re-apply because of this firm's incompetence. The whole reason I hired them in the first place is that I have fibromyalgia and don't have the energy to handle the paperwork. 6 weeks wasted because they mishandled my application. :-(
~UPDATE: They still have NOT submitted the Waiver of Representation/waiver of fees paperwork to Social Security Office.
I called 4 times back to back trying to speak to a supervisor. Kept getting transferred to someone's voicemail. Finally spoke to a supervisor on call #5. The guy promised he would submit the paperwork immediately and email me a copy. Never got it. Trying to fire this law firm is very hard to do because they don't want to submit the required papers.

Maybe this law firm would deserve more than one star, but their inability to return phone calls makes my giving them this one star generous in my opinion. For weeks now I call, talk to a receptionist, give my name and phone number to that person, AND also leave my information on a voicemail for the paralegal. I get no return calls. Do a google search for Veteran Benefits Lawyer for Wisconsin, and there is one, these guys who can't operate a phone.

They have keep in contact with me the whole 2 plus years and Today i found out I'm getting WAY MORE than i thought and a large back payment. Ok Things that are great about this firm.
1. They charge 25%- other firms charge 33% plus plus plus $$$$
2.Janell,Carmen and Rachel H. what a dedicated team to their clients. Keeping me up to speed,Had concern for my well being and even with my constant pestering were the utmost of professionalism.
3. I feel that they were diligent in their efforts to get me a positive outcome.
4.The amount of (leg) work they did ,Due to uncooperative Dr's ect was far beyond my ability.

I do like the help i recived at the federal level they never remained in contact with me on a apoeal level heRing i got a lawyer that was given my case that day. Very disappointed always switching lawyers and now they will not help at apowsl st the federal they did not try

Is there something lower than one star? I am BLIND,..(friend writing this review),...and i have not been approved for Disability??? It's been almost six months and numerous agencies have confirmed my vision loss. I call Tabak Law and it goes straight to voicemail and they say will respond in two or three days. How do i FIRE THIS FIRM??? If they respond to calls as fast as they do with these reviews they might get something done. JS.

How does a case manager change without being told and nothing was asked of me so what work is being done for me ?? I was to hear back from the office on my case and I've called to speak to my case manager and with NO return call i feel like I'm being blown off with no knowledge of my SSI case ..so I will jump in my wheelchair and speak to someone local ..I have not been able to stand up or walk and I'm stuck in a state that I was working in when I got injured..ppl in my position need help not a cold shoulder I'm broke and donate plasma to try and get by now holessness is knocking at the door and the trustees office can only do one month rent and IV not heard back from them..wake up and get on this issue please..don't be a part of my depression.help be a solution..good luck to you all.T.K McAdams

I can't speak of the Attorney at this point, because I've called at least 6 times. I got transferred to 3 or 4 people each time and always ended up with someone's voicemail. Highly disappointed with the extreme lack of professionalism.

I called wanting to make an appointment and Fred Tabak for one had no personality and then told me that the accident was my fault because I had custody and had control of the dog. He started by saying because of where the owner works he must likely has no money and cant afford insurance. Wouldnt even suggest us meeting to discuss my case. If I could give him no stars I would, now I see why someone else I know gave him a bad review also.

The only time I spoke to an Attorney in over 2 years there was the day of my hearing. After being found unfavorable, in my opinion because of a lack of work and proper medical records being reviewed, I never received another call from anyone. They didn’t say why, they didn’t go over any options, nothing. So be careful. Unless you get yours approved they may abandon you as they have me. They initially promised they would go all the way to the Supreme Court if they had to. Yet here I sit unable to barely walk with no help. Thanks Tabak Law.
One thing I forgot to mention is I was told by Noah ( who is no longer there) and the attorney that showed up the day of the hearing ( he was a hired out attorney that knew absolutely nothing about my case. And never returned a call) that they were 70-80% sure with all my issues that I would be found favorable. I’m not upset that I wasn’t, I am upset that they NEVER called me once after the hearing. I will be contacting a local private attorney soon because my time limit to appeal will end very soon.

in the year and a half this law firm had my case, i never spoke to the same person ever.. they had my diagnosis wrong on the paperwork sent to the law judge for my appeal, they refused to let me speak to the attorney, they hired an outside attorney for my appeal, without my knowledge or consent, who showed up right before my hearing, told me not to say anything and did not know anything about my case, did not speak on my behalf, this firm asked me to provide my own medical records, i cant drive, so getting them to this firm i had to have someone else do it for me, they did not even have all my records submitted to the appeal hearing, this is the worst law firm you could ever use for ssdi..unless your guaranteed to win. then you dont need them anyway STAY AWAY!!!
