Absolutely useless, I was hurt at work all the doctors agree I was hurt at work but because my injury is not going to cause permanent damage they no longer will help me with my case. I would never recommend anyone to use their service they were distant and didn't really keep in touch with me and it always took 24-48 hours to receive any sort of reply and every time we spoke on the phone it seemed as though the lawyer handling my case could not wait to hang up with me. Don't get me wrong everyone was friendly, but no one wanted to assist me anymore once they found out that I was not going to be permanently disabled. Pretty pathetic for a Law Firm that relies on Workers Compensation cases if you ask me.

Very pleased with the results. After being denied coverage for needed surgery my surgeon recommended this firm. I spoke to Patrick and made it clear I would be happy if medical expenses were covered. I didn't expect anything more. As it turned out all medical expenses were covered along with a cash settlement from the Insurance Co. When all the expenses had finally been paid out there was a cash surplus left in the fund which they reimbursed to me. Had Patrick Kern as my representative, after sending me to several specialist, and racking up medical bills knowing that I his client didn't have any medical insurance. He made a choice to drop my case which resulted in the doctor that I was being treated by ended up suing me because I didn't have insurance at the time to cover the medical bills that were created that his lawyer group told me that I had t I go see to win my case that I did not even have a chance at . They were not even willing to take on my case even though it states in their add that " we don't get paid unless we win" I now have permanent injury to both my shoulders , and on going treatment through the state and I have not been able to go back to work , I also have had to file bankruptcy because of this flop of a lawyer that I had . July 2012, I was working as a stocker at Wal-Mart and injured both my shoulders with witnesses present. Following MRI's of my shoulders the doctors Wal-Mart sent me to recommended surgery. I had one large and one massive rotator cuff tears, requiring surgery and a long recovery time. Initially Wal-Mart agreed the injuries were work related and would be covered by Workman's Comp. Eventually workman's comp payments for surgery on my right shoulder were started and stopped when surgery for my left shoulder was scheduled. Wal-Mart's Workman's comp insurance denied all claims stating, "The injuries were not work related".

Still in pain from my surgeries I was upset and not sure where to turn. During physical therapy another patient as well as staff at IRC recommended the Hickey and Turim firm. I was told they would do me right.

I made and appointment to meet with Josh Turim, who was very professional and understanding regarding my situation. My wife and I were treated with respect and had our options explained to us, with him agreeing to assist us with out troubles.

Throughout the almost two years my case dragged on Josh and his staff were always present to answer our questions, were always courteous and treated my wife and I with the utmost respect. They took over dealing with all the medical bills piling up, the frequent communication and headaches Wal-Mart was presenting us.
The last time we met with Josh in his office he had a stack of communications at least 4 inches high.
