I was taken care of from start to finish. I called the law firm in December 2018, almost 3 years after my accident. I thought staff would laugh in my face for waiting so long (I had no intention of suing until I found out insurance was getting involved and had to defend myself), but I spoke to a secretary who took my story and she right away connected me to sam Bernstein and my lawyer, Leonard Miller.

I truly didn’t expect much since their payment wasn’t guaranteed, but every time I came to the (clean, beautiful) office I was treated with respect. I was only called to appear in the office twice and didn’t have to go out of my way anywhere else. I felt comfortable whenever I called to ask questions. Shereen, Sandra, and Pat were always pleasant with me and returned my calls in a timely manner.

My lawsuit has been settled within a year. If i allowed Leonard continue fighting instead of accepting the very fair settlement I was offered, I’m sure I could have received a bigger settlement but this issue has already caused me so much stress and anxiety and I’m glad to be done with it. The phone never stops ringing at this law firm. They welcome you very well. You will even get a call from Sam Bernstein himself if you are lucky.They sit on your case too long before filing a lawsuit. Communication is almost non existent so if this is how you want to proceed and be treated while you are injured then hire this firm.They change lawyers on you very often and will drop you if they have to work hard and actually go to trial. you are better off hiring a non television lawyer. They have so much business they can pick and choose which cases that they want . The law firm does a lot for the community and veterans. For an injured person I would not call this place ever again. They have really stepped up their advertising themed on family. There is no doubt when this firm was first started they genuinely cared about family.

I was involved in a rear-end crash,not my

The 1/3 share taken by the firm was very easily earned by them. I learned later that the fee is often negotiable with many law firms if it’s this simple. We didn’t do our homework.

Somehow this posting is showing up as my son but I was the client, Patricia Healy and I would not recommend this law firm. First off I retained them in January 2018. They sent someone to my house to have me sign the contracts and get information. The man wrote down the completely wrong date for my car accident, gave me business cards in my folder to people who weren’t even on my case, so when I went to contact my case manager and Atty they email and phone, no one returned my calls because they were the wrong people. When someone did finally contact me a month later (February)she wasn’t very nice or helpful. I was told the people handling my case are different then the cards given to me. I contacted the correct Atty expressed my dismay at all the issues already and he assured me it would be better. I emailed him medical reports, surgical reports etc. Fast forward 8 months (never talked to anyone in that time period even though I emailed and got no responses) and lady calls me and wants all the same information that was already given to them months ago, she was kinda hyper, talking very fast which exasperated me. I was told the Atty and case manager on my case were no longer with the firm and I now had new people AGAIN......I asked if she had all the medical reports I had even emailing the previous Atty and she stated no....super mad at this point....I told her I did not want I talk to her I wanted to talk to the new Atty. New Atty calls me (its October now) and I have to resend many many pages they email again of my medical records that I had already sent (isn't that the Atty’s job to get my medical records?). He knows nothing of my case but assured me things would be different AGAIN this time....not much changed, date of accident was still wrong, dates they told me they were sending demand letters are completely different then the dates they said they were going to do it, calls were not returned unless I called a couple times, they didn’t do much negotiating on my behalf and then in January told me that sinc the accident was out of state I had to get an Atty out of state. They half helped me locate an out of state Atty and they still want 1/3 of the new Atty’s win of 33% for doing nothing. NEVER GO TO THIS FIRM

Only takes claims that's gonna make them the most money. I was going on 9 years old hit by a bus and almost killed. Pain from Injuries still 25 years later that effect me daily. The 20 grand I got (the lawyer they referred my mother to ) I should not be struggling and dealing with all of this and I feel if they would of took the case at least my medical bills would of been paid for.

I love the Sam Bernstein family they were really awesome to me my only problem is I am so sorry that the crooked big wigs have made it hard for someone to get compensation. for being severely hurt in Southfield. I know someone who is maimed for life on a big big apartment complex but because of the crooked law blocking people for sewing for slip and falls so they won't have to pay people for being severely hurt on their property they pay off the big wigs so that you cannot sue them. about slipping falls the older gentleman only walked away with 50,000 for a lifetime of pain and years of miswork I don't care if they're rich or poor You should be constipated!!!. bunch of crooks that was not justice. I had been previously denied for soical security benefits! So I had listened to friends and family and decided to call this firm. We worked with Stan Feldman for a dog bite case for my wife. We choose Stan because he had done business with me in the past. What a great choice that was for us. Stan was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and would answer back in minutes. He was also a pit-bull when dealing with the opposing attorneys and won us a larger settlement then we expected. While Stan is a friend of mine more importantly he now has a couple of raving fans. Law suites are a pain in the butt but if you want someone that will communicate effectively with you and is a very solid and aggressive attorney you would be hard pressed to do better then Stan.
