I don’t normally write reviews but I’m making an exception. When my life was turned upside down due to an auto accident I had the good fortune to have Dave represent me. This is a man of integrity, honesty and humility. If you’re looking for a loud, brash or coercive attorney, go somewhere else. Dave possesses the leadership qualities that elicits respect and win cases. He is also highly respected within his field. I know this because I’ve seen it when other attorneys introduce themselves him. His team is highly organized, respectful and responsive. They followed up quickly with my requests, they politely reminded me of important deadlines, and kept me informed throughout this lengthy, frustrating and complicated process.

Dave listened without interrupting and he presented all of the information without trying to steer us in any one direction. He’s completely transparent (no hidden agenda) and wise beyond words. During one meeting, near the end of my case, we were in a room with 5 attorneys, including two from opposing counsel. On Dave’s side of the table there sat my case file, bound with tabbed sections for easy access to key information. On the opposing counsel’s side all I saw was a two inch stack of paper. My experience with the entire staff at David Christensen Law has been remarkable. This is my first time being involved in a lawsuit and the staff have all made me feel both comfortable and reassured. Stephanie MchPherson was absolutely amazing! I appreciated her promptness at responding to my emails and answering all of my pre-litigation questions. Tom Economy was the lawyer assigned my case and this guy has been absolutely awesome to work with (irregardless of him being a U of M fan). He was always accessible and patient with me and my questions. He made me feel at ease and when the time came, his guidance was top notch. That said, I think the Christensen Law firm comes with quite a reputation. The at fault party wasnt willing to level with me. They played their game. The entire firm was very professional throughout the whole case while at the same time treating us as if we were great friends. They worked very hard on our behalf and kept us comfortable with the process. The other party refused to settle so we had to go to trial. Dave Christensen and Sarah Stempky-Kime presented our case very well. Dave and Sarah’s expertise and preparation far exceeded the defense’s attorneys (who were also from a top firm per Hour Detroit). We won a judgement far in excess of what we would have accepted in a settlement. We cannot recommend Dave and his firm any stronger than we do.
