Jonathan jones is a great talker but not great at taking action. I paid Jonathan $1500 for my case, and he settled for a plea agreement made by a $50 defense lawyer. The other accused of the same thing as myself, got away with nothing and a clean slate when represented by his lawyer who he also paid $1500 for. Jonathan wants to be in and out of the court quick. Jonathan jones is not a lawyer who will fight for you he is a lawyer who wants to collect a nice paycheck with minimalist work involved.

Let me start out by saying Mr. Jones knows what he is doing. I was wrongly accused of a domestic violence case by my soon to be ex: wife and her old man boyfriend. This resulted in me getting arrested in front of my children at my home, not the home where she is living with him and where the incident took place. After meeting with Mr. Jones and telling him my side of what really happened he stopped me and said we have this. Over the course of the long drawn out process with wayne county Mr. Jones had to continuously reassure me to not worry (as this had caused stress beyond imaginable) and that he will handle this and it will be dismissed. His exact words to me were "do I look worried? Since I don't you should not be worried either". In addition to the domestic charges a PPO was issued, which he also represented me on and it was thrown out and back dated to the original date it was issued as thou it was never issued. The judge also read the riot act to her on her false reporting. On Sept 21 2018 I appeared for the final settlement conference in which she never showed as a result of the pressure that was put on by Mr. Jones and the fact he wanted to put both her and him on the stand for trial to destroy them and their credibility. Without a doubt if I did not hire him and went another route I am sure I would have been convinced to sign a plea deal for something I did not do. The first lawyer out of about ten consultations that actually made me feel confident and hopeful for court. After being screwed over by attorney after attorney he was a breath of fresh air. I hired Mr. Jones for my girlfriend's probation violation case in the 35th district court. She has non reporting probation for a LITTERING charge. The "victim" is my psycho ex who is on a campaign against us trying to get us thrown in jail and break up over her lies. After attorney Tim Klisz waited 15 days to let us know he would not show up for our court date, we were forced to go in alone. The judge threatened my girlfriend with 30 days in jail over this lie. He gave us only 7 days to find an attorney for the next court date. After frantically searching we came upon Jonathan Jones. We set up a consultation with him and right away he typed up and faxed over his appearance. He took time to listen to what we had to say and look over and make copies of all related documents. He showed up to court prepared and confident. He destroyed the "victim" on the witness stand and exposed her as a liar and the malicious one in all of this. We ended up getting a great result after Jonathan was aggressive with the judge and stood up for us. We have never had an attorney be so aggressive and effective in court.
