I had the pleasure of working with Olinsky Law Group. Regarding my Social Security Disability case. I had been denied and contacted them to handle my case. Everyone at the firm was very understanding and helpful to me. Of course I was at the mercy of waiting for a hearing date but in the end Olinsky Law Group not only got me an award back to my filing date but back to the last day I had worked which was 7 months earlier. I will be forever thankful for all of their help and for their knowledge of the system to get me all that I deserved.

I do not recommend this lawyer. They were horrible about keeping me updated on the status of my case. I almost missed my court date because they told me that they postponed it and they filed the paperwork wrong. I found out about my court date by receiving a letter directly from the court just a few days before the court date. I moved to a completely different state on the other side of the country and they were expecting me to be in the court. I had to call the court directly to straighten everything out and luckily the judge allowed me to do the hearing over the phone. I only talked to the lawyer one time, less than 24 hours before my hearing. Luckily, I was awarded a completely favorable decision, but the whole experience with my representation was not pleasant. I would not want anyone else to have to deal with bad representation when going through something that is already as stressful as this process already is. Save yourself the grief and use a different lawyer.

Most of the reason for the five stars is the wonderful work of representative, Terry Schmidt. She was efficient, explained things clearly, with detail and precision .She invited questions and answered them slowly; I followed easily.She did not push her opinion on me;she gave me knowledge and reminded me the choice was mine. Her actions in the courtroom carried strength without being overbearing.She had explained what would happen before tthe he judge, so I felt prepared.

Terry was personable and pleasant to work with; she was friendly and cared about my case and cared about me. That went such a long way toward my faith in t he Olinsky law firm.

Hang on to Terry.! I hope she is receiving compensation commensurate with her job performance.

It's been a long road almost 3 yrs but finally 2 months after video appeals hearing and a consult evaluation I was approved Fully Favorable (letter from judge via mail 2 months after hearingl). The Olinsky law group managed all the paper work, appeal and filed all neccessary documents and collected evidence needed. I would not have been able to do on my own and probably would have gave up, I am very thankful to Olinsky law group for that. But I was disappointed and a little annoyed to not receive any return calls by my advocate or appointed attorney after leaving messages 4 different times in a two week period following my hearing and CE, I was told by secretary I would hear back from attorney by end of day, recording says by next business day...I got neither and never heard from them again. Guess after hearing I'm just not a priority anymore. My first check went to wrong bank with closed account, still waiting for that to get straightened out and was charged for optional Medicare part B automatically that is subtracted from your disability, I have my own medical insurance. That $ will never be refunded and wont be removed for 2 months. This could have been avoided if I just got a call back from them.

It's a long process so my advice is...do your research, read as much as you can online and there are some very informative YouTube videos you can watch as well. No case is the same but the laws/rules are. Good luck to all. Blessed be.

I'm sorry for not having responded earlier. My parents have taken over
their three grandchildren through CPS. There have been too many appointments and organizations involved in this exchange. I am also involved in it.

I am eager to have this case closed in my favor ASAP. There has been too many lapses and too many personages involved with no results of any kind for too many years.

My injuries are getting worse since the incident of 08/24/2001. I would appreciate a settlement ASAP.

P.S.: My dad wrote this in his own words as I explained to him my pains and disappointments in this case repeatedly year after year without results.

Took money from my disabled child after they got her dad his social security money. We filed for her after not them. When I questioned them they said it was their money and it was in our contract. If they win for you they will take money from every other family member. Beware my autistic daughter lost over $6,000. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE LAWYERS!

They denied me without even seeing me in person or seeing my medical records smh that's crazy i was told when i get my ssi appointment to keep them inform in which my appointment is next week i got a letter from this firm statung they will not be helping me and that's not even right why deny me when we haven't even met in person or seen my medical records? They didn't ask was working or any questions i just got a letter stating they won't help me i will definitely let it be known to not apply with this law firm

Its been a long road but the Olinsky law group never gave up on me even when I was denied. Finally after some time I am getting my disability benefits.
