The impression that I received from Mr. O'Brien during my consultation with him was that he is very knowledgeable and professional. I knew very quickly during my meeting with him that I wanted to work with him. I had done my research and was very impressed with his educational background as well as his litigating experience. 
With the limited to time he had to review the facts of my case, he was able to quickly ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of it. 
I would recommend this firm but only to those who can afford it. Unfortunately, I will have to find counsel elsewhere because I cannot afford to make an upfront payment of $10,000. While I completely understand the value of a good attorney, I am disappointed in my ability to retain one. I work full time for the State of New York, yet I can't afford decent counsel to help me regain custody of my children. It is probably one of the most disappointing challenges I will ever have to face in life. 
To anyone who does retain Mr. O'Brien, you definitely have a winner!
