Max Smelyansky is a wonderful lawyer. Seems like a one man operation, and he answers on his cell phone and calls you back within reasonable time. No middle person and no long waits to hear back. Spoke with him about a shady landlord trying to withhold and stall on giving back my security deposit. Before even retaining him, he gave me a thorough consultation on what would need to be done- step by step and what my rights were as a tenant. He explained everything in laymen terms and was realistic with his answers (not just trying to tell me what I wanted to hear so I'd pay him like most lawyers). In the end I got my entire deposit.

I'm a single father (this is my daughter's phone) and was going thru a divorce/custody battle and Max was the best!!! He was always there when I needed him and knew how to calm me down when I thought I was going to lose my kids (lived with me their whole life). Wasn't to expensive but when I couldn't afford him when I was laid off he still took my calls and answered any questions I had. I owe that man everything, I got to keep my kids and get much needed child support.

Max Smelyansky is a GREAT lawyer who is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest!! He worked very hard to evict a problematic non-paying tenant within 5 weeks and certainly knew the best tactic in getting the tenant out ASAP. He answered all of my questions and was prompt even with his busy schedule. He also represented me in court when I could not be there due to the long distance drive I would have to travel and he easily won in court.
