I only asked one question and got a very rude answer. Customer service was very poor. Just lost my business.

I been going here for the past 10 years getting my taxes done this year I called two weeks ago to make appointment and I was turned off by the rude person that answers the phone, the 1st time I called was put on hold for 3mins hung up called back and was told booked until feb 28th and she hung up on me, not sure why she hung up I didn’t mind waiting to the two weeks to get them done lol... i guess I’ll start doing taxes my self

Totally unprofessional, rude front desk, dismissive attitude

I went to this place the first year I moved to the Capital Region because I had an atypical tax year with deductions. This guy spent less than five minutes talking to me then lost my paperwork and blamed it on me. When I went back to try to recover it, they told me they'd mailed it back, but they never even started my return! I wound up having to go back and get second copies of our W-2s from our employers because they'd basically vanished -- and somehow this was my fault? Straight-up scumbag "business" operation. I try to support local business, but not when they operate this way.

Went to have taxes done for the first time. Process took about 15 minutes and was told it was complete. Outcome wasn't much different from doing it myself there was a $45 fee to cancel. Secretary Brianna was very unpleasant and unprofessional when I called to make arrangements didn't even see paperwork that was completed on my behalf. I was expecting a more thorough tax preparation disappointed altogether.

I got my taxes done with Frank myself and he was pleasant, as far as the front end staff, VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I called to ask a question about my taxes and I was put on hold and waited, when the secretary returned all she said was my check wasn't there and hung up. What's fascinating is I wasn't even calling about my check.

I’ve called twice there is a VERY rude person that answers the phone she’s EXTREMELY & I Mean extremely rude I see other comments about her and how RUDE she is. They ought to get rid of her or have a conversation with her about her customer service! Or else the business will continue to Lack! I also wanted to add this Women hung up on me she didn’t ask my name or anything. Sad how some people are just rude as if we owe them something, she need a reality check. Very miserable all the time when answering the phone I should call back to get her name and add it to the reviews

Fast and efficient

Quick and easy tax prep. They do a good job and I get a great refund every year. Taxes stress me out, so it's worth the peace of mine as opposed to doing it myself. They take the fees out of my refund, which is nice.

Only downfall is that the girls he hires are very inappropriate and unprofessional. They do not dress for the business environment and they are very unorganized.

Frank and val are great but the receptionist Is the rudest s.o.b ever. I called to make an appointment w val. She said val is booked until may then hung up the phone on me. I called back and she never apologized. Shes very nasty and standoffish. I've been going there fore several years bec of val. If I had to guess, I can almost pinpoint which receptionist.

Pathetic lady on the phone had no manners, i thought i was the only one until i had to google! Made me feel better that I'm not the only one.

Friendly, helpful and courteous Receptionist! In and out within an hour! Great service.

Unprofessional and pathetic woman answered phone ....tried to tell me that the computer sets the prices and how she's been there 10 years and don't know how much they charge.....in closing she explained to me that Frank himself checks the taxes so I suggested I talk to him and she said he wouldn't answer my call and shes positive cause she's his secretary.....what a joke

Never ever have I talked to someone as rude as the appointment taker, Im sure she was busy but find a new job its tax season ...I will find a place that will gladly and politely take my business

This is a bad review unfortunately not for Kiepura but for the person who does the schedule on the phone! I have heard a lot of great feedback about Kiepura himself thats why I decided to try. When I tried to make an appointment on the phone today, the woman was nasty and mean and doesnt have phone etiquette!! It was annoying and disappointing!!! Its just funny that customers will end up leaving or not even wanting to continue business with Kiepura because of unprofessional frontliners he chose to represent his business!!!!!!!!

This place is a circus! Extremely rude and very unprofessional front desk girls. I had an appointment to get my taxes done and went in during the middle of the week and sat with someone for about 10 mins and they told me to come back in 45 mins and I would be all set. When I came back an hour later they said they were still working on it and it would only be a few more minutes. An hour and a half later I politely asked (I was honestly very polite, I’m not twisting the story at all) if they made any progress and the girl at the front desk interrupted the other girl I was asking and said “It’s a very busy time of year for us and you’ll just have to patiently wait!!” I said I have no problem waiting, but I was initially told 45 mins and it’s been close to 2 and a half hours that I’ve been here. To which she replied “Well, we’re very busy right now and your not the only client we have!” I’ll never go back there again, and my refund was only $30 more than when I do it online for free.

On a side note the place was packed with the cast from Jerry Springer. It was full of Trashy people wearing pajamas and creepy low lives and the place was dirty and stunk terribly. The front desk girls were all very young and wearing very revealing shirts and skin tight yoga pants (obviously their employer is a creep).

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere professional, not this place!

Me and my family bought a house this year so we went to a tax "professional" but this office rushed us in and out then did not talk to us about our taxes, just told us our refund and pushed us out the door. I was hoping for an in depth interview and for them to discuss our options and the items they were putting on our taxes. The interview was a 6 out of 10; guy seemed like a know it all and took our information in but gave nothing back, no info or recommendations.

Price was reasonable and the time spent in the office was reasonable too.

Second biggest item we disliked was that there was no discussion just give them your info and they spit a number at you.

Biggest issue was they screwed up our State Tax form and shorted us about $1,500. Now mistakes happen, but when I call and ask them, their first response was that they put all the numbers in their program and this was the way to get us the most money back. That is a line of Garbage and was a quick answer to get me to leave them alone. When I further question that they put me on hold, transfer me to someone else who asks me another question says I am pretty sure we accounted for everything and they got us the best refund. Finally when I told them I did my own taxes through H&R Block and they selected the wrong itemize option they finally admitted to making the mistake.

On their behalf, once they acknowledge they did make a mistake they said they will file an amended voucher for us, no charge but of course they cannot do that until we get our return back (6 weeks); they will file it without us being there (they say), then we will wait another 6 weeks for the money we should have gotten in the first place.

If they would have taken my inquiry serious the first time and not try to B.S me this review would have given them a middle of the road review. Bottom line - they want to get as many people in and out as possible and their first step to solve your problem will be to lie to you so they don't have to do more work. I left there with the feeling they do not care about me just want my money and will do that with the least amount of work possible.

I used them for my tax preparation. I had an appointment but I think they may also take walk ins. They were quick and reasonable.

Just got off the phone with the most unfriendly secretary, cant say ill be keeping my appt.

Last year we went there to have taxes done, had an appointment but didn't get in until an hour later. Figured I'd give them another chance.. until I just called. The receptionist was SO rude. I asked for an appointment this week if possible. She said they had nothing until next weekend. I asked if I could call back later once I looked at my schedule, and she just hung up without saying a word! Very poor customer service.

I didn't actually hire them but they were super helpful in pointing me to someone that was better qualified to deal with my issue

Passed my case around to different associates who then mis-informed me of documents needed in an appeal. Cost me thousands in penalties. (Also did not keep proper copies of files and documents)

This guy is a scumbag. He hires attractive young females and is completely inappropriate with them. He pays most of his employees off the books.
