This one was not willing to take my case based on the fact that I wanted my son to be adopted by my new spouse and use the exception that the noncustodial parent does not have to be notified based on criminal activity, abandonment, or mental instability. The noncustidial parent has a felony against him for trying to kill my son and I. It even went under the parental kidnapping act. We got put in the address confidentiality program, and the felon is bipolar 1. Appearently, meeting all the requirements of the exception. Wouldnt even try for me, said to call him when my son is 18.
