Today I called for help. Mr. Blender told me that he could file the divorce in Idaho courts, with no problem with my brother's wife living in Utah. I told him we were beyond that as 3 days ago, my sister-in-law was admitted to ICU. She has shown no signs of life, and will be removed from life support. (Now being concerned my brother as well as myself would be held responsible for medical bills for a wife he had not seen in 17 years, or a person I had never met.)
All due from an incompetent lawyer who we hired over 2 months ago, had not served my sister-in-law, or filed any papers with the Utah courts, but was more than happy taking our retainer fee. She didn't know/ care that she could file in Idaho as that has been my brother's residence, for years.
Mr. Blender explained clearly what steps we need to take going forward. Making sure I understood. When I asked for his address he wanted to know why. I told him I wanted to pay him, he said he would not accept any form of payment.

Very unprofessional. He relies on his unprofessional staff and interns to do his leg work. All he does is take notes in court and then passes them on to his staff to process everything. He is very forgetful when it comes to plea bargains and what was discussed and if he didn't write it down in his notes then his staff has no idea what was agreed upon. Come court time hes never prepared for what his staff has come up with and if the defending team is conscious of his negligibly as a Lawyer then he is unprepared for any negotiations.
