Long lives the King (or in this case, the Queen). Attorney Michelle Swardenski has been at the fore-front of the firm's cumulative attack on fathers and their children. Acting as more of a "friend of the woman" rather than an advocate for the best interests of children, Attorney Swardenski takes some sick pleasure in unabashedly discriminating against men. Seeing as how Swardenski has trouble getting people to pay her to act as their attorney, she focuses her practice on appointments from the court to serve as Guardian ad Litem in child placement and custody matters. Pity to the unfortunate soul who has this woman as their child's attorney (unless, of course, you are a woman), and most importantly, pity to the child whose future is dependent upon Swardenski's ability to act in their best interest, as she has proven time-and-time-again, that it is the interests of herself and her agenda for which she advocates, not of the child.
Enter the dragon. As a law firm whose business model is to advance the interests of women, and with their sole focus being on family law, they clearly have a conflict in serving as Guardians ad Litem in family law matters, yet that doesn't stop the attorneys in this firm from using their authority as GALs to dole out punishment they perceive all men deserve. The results of their actions have left many children without fathers, and have even subjected some children to physical and sexual abuse by mom's boyfriend. The effects of this firm’s “advocacy” compounds upon childhood poverty and fatherlessness (they like the latter), as they treat families as chattel whose sole purpose is to fund their enterprise. But that doesn't stop them from trampling upon families and children in their pursuit to rid men from the family. If one were to truly understand the inner-workings of this law firm, they would realize just how incredibly immoral they are and would argue that felonies are routinely committed by the professionals working in this office.
Kids are the new oil. Swardenski is not shy about her actions to discriminate against fathers. She will protract proceedings in order to maximize billable hours, and then use whatever unethical tools are at her disposal to attempt to plunder men (after all, they are men, so they deserve it). I don't know what happened to Swardenski in her past that has caused her to express pure hatred for the male gender, but I am incredibly sorry that the resulting effects of her past has caused her to seek to take children away from their fathers by whatever means necessary. Only when Swardenski absolutely has to in order to avoid disciplinary actions will she act in an ethical manner.
Welcome to the abyss. Attorney Swardenski's business practices would cause her to lose her license in all other forms of business; however, thankfully, she is a lawyer, and a female lawyer at that. She knows she can get away with just about anything so long as she plays her victim cards right. Never mind the fact that Swardenski is an extraordinarily poor attorney, the very fact that she is a woman allows her to get away with just about any negligent action which would be immediately thrown out if a man were to submit it to the court. She doesn't have to worry. If anyone questions her, it's because they hate women.
Maybe, some day, they'll figure all this out. Hopefully, soon, the courts in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas will wake up to Swardenski and this firm's discrimination and the effects it has on children and families in Wisconsin. When that happens, I can predict with great certainty that Swardenski will be out of work, as she is absolutely incapable of practicing law in an ethical manner. Her time in a private practice which does not accept GAL appointments would be short-lived.
May God bless the children and fathers who are unfortunate enough to have to deal with this law firm. There usually is no way out.

Thompson did an amazing job! She was helpful from the very beginning and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else. Beyond thankful.
Worst ever! I would never recommend this place ever! Go anywhere but here!

Coud not have asked for more professional, and highly skilled, group of attorneys. Without them, I can truly say my life would have been much harder to handle.

Michelle Swardenski was assigned as my son's GAL and she was amazing! She was able to see the truth and call my ex out on his BS majorly. After an already long, drawn out custody battle and many failed attempts to get my point across in front of the judges, I finally felt like someone was looking into the best interest of my son and she hit a home run for me. My son is now in a MUCH healthier, safer place, now that I have sole custody. I would give 5 stars, however, the only complaint I have is about the billing. The statements are extremely confusing and weren't reflecting current payments, I had to do some math to figure out my final payment. Other than that, I would highly recommend Michelle to anyone.
