I found myself in the unfortunate position where I needed an lawyer. I approached this company with my case. I felt like I had a strong case, and after I met with Chad, he agreed and they accepted to take my case. After this meeting, communication with my lawyer became border line non existent. Over the next 14 months, I would only talk with Chad once! a quick 5 minute phone call somewhere around the 6 month mark. All other communication was done through his assistant. Even on the most important day of my case, the day we met with the investigator, MY LAWYER WAS AT A FAMILY EVENT, and I was represented by his assistant. During every step of the process, I was assured things were going "as expected". Once the investigators report came through and it didn't lean in my favor, I got my SECOND phone call from Chad. My lawyer. The one who is suppose to be representing me! He tells me that my case would no longer be worth his time because I "landed on my feet" and they wouldn't make much off of it.
I never felt like there was much fight or effort put in. After 14 months, I felt like I got slapped in the face by my previous employer for a second time. Worst of all, I felt like my lawyer just sat there and let it happen. I was left feeling discouraged and powerless.
If your looking for a dog with some fight, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere

I called to inquire about an employment issue. I received a return call from a paralegal that grilled me asking questions that no one could possibly answer.
