On February 13 2015 I was working for a lumber company. The company I was working for had sent me along several others to a building/property that wasn't owned by that company to shovel snow off the roofs. On the last building we were shoveling I fell through a skylight. I fell about 16 feet and landed on a concrete floor. I suffered serious injuries to my left arm. After recovering for about a month I started reaching out to a few law firms. I reached out to 5 or 6 different firms. Each one of them didn't really give me the time of day. And all gave me the same answer " there's nothing we can do for you because workers comp. is covering you". So I gave up looking for legal help. A few more months had gone by after that. And then I got a call from my mother saying she had reached out to Hardy Wolf & Downing. She told me that they said it might be in my best interest to go see them and talk. So I went to Lewiston and talked to Christian Lewis. He had asked me a few questions and told me that he would like to represent me if I so desired. I felt good about this. I felt like finally someone was on my side. It took quite awhile because the insurance companies lawyer tried multiple ways to get out of being responsible. We ended up going to the Supreme Court. Who ultimately favored us with the arguments that were brought to them. Christian was very skillful with his argument and knew the law. He never once gave up on me. He knew we had a case. In the end I ended up settling for $150,000. I'm very thankful for the time and knowledge Christian supplied to me. If it wasn't for Hardy Wolf & Downing I never would have gotten the justice I deserved. They took me in when nobody else would and we won!

So far, good attorney since state won't do or help me after being hit by an uninsured driver.

Wonderful team to work with. Because they focus on one area they truly are experts. I do not call anyone before I call Sheldon at HWD if I have been in an accident from a negligent driver.
