She sucks as human being

Attorney tahra sinks did a great job getting my case dismissed. She is a fighter and goes the extra mile for her clients, also Tony in the office was a great help. If you want someone to fight like a pitbull Miss. Sinks is the person for you. Thanks tahra!!!!

Do your due diligence before hiring this attorney. Check all her reviews. I hired tahra as a parenting coordinator in my custody case. The Judge did approve custody for me, but only after I was able to get Tahra released from my case due to a conflict of interest. Tahra seemed to be extremely biased throughout my case, was extremely hard to get a hold of , she was extremely unresponsive, and I was billed for services she did not perform. I would not recommend hiring Tahra as a parenting coordinator.

She has been helping me with custody/parenting time arrangements and has been doing an amazing job. Very supportive and energetic, has been very respectful of my personal situations, schedules etc. and doesn’t waste time. She is very knowledgeable! Nobody wants to go to court, but with Tahra’s help I feel much more comfortable and confident that things will be taken care of the best they can be. She has gone above and beyond what I would have hoped.

Is it possible to give no stars? Definitely look into this person, ask around, do some research ... Tahra Sinks is completely under-qualified & incompetent, and it has become so evident that she's only out for one thing: $. She has no interpersonal skills and has made multiple false statements (proven by us, other attorneys, the court). How did she get into this position? Right place, right time, luck?? Our lawyer warned us as well, and she is not well-liked in the industry due to her arrogance and constant power trips. She doesn't listen, can't remember details given to her (so you'll spend a lot of time/money repeating yourself and reminding her of things she "forgot"), is dishonest (she even lied to our children multiple times & they caught on!) and extremely hypocritical. Also very subjective, takes a side and then tries to railroad the other one (have heard this from more than one attorney and countless clients - just look at her other reviews!) Now what did we hire her for again ... to HELP, or to make matters worse for everyone involved? The latter is definitely what she has proven to do. Tahra is very manipulative and tries to use intimidation and control as a weapon. She acts as though we (her clients) are criminals, like she's above us and it's very apparent that she is completely full of herself. When trying to describe a mentally unstable person to her, she got defensive ... and the more we got to know her, the more we started wondering ... does SHE ALSO have some mental issues that need to be addressed? Even DHS calls her a "bear" and not someone with childrens' best interest in mind; rather, it's MONEY. Above it all, she acts as if she knows it all ... then gives completely unrealistic and bad parenting advice. She has children herself, so this one is really baffling. Maybe she lacks common sense or her head is simply in the clouds. No clue! We aren't perfect parents, but Tahra definitely should not be in a position to counsel families or advise parents on how to react or handle their own children ... then reprimand them if they don't do exactly as she "directed." She has no compassion. No HEART. And every one of her pieces of advice that we've followed has completely backfired and turned out badly -- mostly for the kids.

Then there's her receptionist Tony (aka Tahra’s b*tch), who is is rude and incompetent also. Lazy, unresponsive, can’t keep invoices straight, doesn't know how to edit them when necessary, he bills for services not performed, and has absolutely no follow-through. They screen calls and don’t answer or want to talk to you unless it’s regarding money.

It's sad that this office has reinforced the negative perception people have of lawyers. But if she has to do something, she should focus on her lawyering (maybe criminal defense or a field where dishonesty benefits a person?) and be removed from the position of parental coordination/mediation of any kind.

Cares about her clients and her work, best lawyer ever

Ms. Sinks catastrophically failed us and our child. Do not allow the court to appoint her to your case if it is at all complex, because she cannot handle the complexities of physical, sexual, or medical child abuse, mental illness, and parenting rights, despite assurances that she could. As for busting "fake reviews," Tahra, Jeff Spaght don't look so legit. Gonna flag that one?

Do not hire this attorney! Only cares about the $$$$$ and certainly not her clients! Her and hers staff are very rude, she does not listen, and never responds to my calls. This lady gets angry if you do not worship her. She was more out for money and her ego than what was best for me.

Very nice and friendly people

This attorney dropped my case, after my insistence that we go to trial on my custody matter. She was attempting to settle with my ex's attorney when that was absolutely not in the best interest of my child. She verbally attacked me after questioning how she allowed my HIPPA rights to be violated; she cussed me out, and attacked my mental capabilities in front of my mother whom was with me for emotional support. I basically paid this attorney just to bully me, and tear me down emotionally, in an already very emotional, and distressing time. Do not lose your money to this attorney. She will leave you feeling more hopeless, and discouraged than when you hired her.
