While on a long road trip Spring/Summer of 2019 I found myself standing across the street looking at Jacklin's Fly Shop. I haven't fished in over 20 yrs, but recalled reading articles by Bob Jacklin, and over the past month after watching fly fishermen along rivers, I was catching the bug. Stepped in and purchased a new reel and a few flies. The staff was very helpful and took time to set up the reel. Great Service!

Ken was extremely knowledgeable and patient in helping me transition from fly in South Florida to Trout fishing on the Madison River around West Yellowstone. Customer friendly and all I needed to enjoy my experience. Thanks Ken. Randy

My favorite fly shop in West Yellowstone. Very helpful, even fixed a broken reel seat on my fly rod. I have visited them several times over the years, and their fly and location recommendations have always been spot on. Since the park banned our felt boots, we had to rent boots and they had a huge selection that fit my wife and I, and very reasonable. Dont go fishing without seeing them first! I give them my highest recommendation.

My husband and daughter took the free fly fishing demo and they were hooked. Ken was super helpful and we really enjoyed our interactions with everyone from their shop including Scott and Bob . Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, fly selection is a jack of all trades and a master of none. It's also the priciest out of all the flyshops in West on most things.

The staff was amazing. My son has never fly fished before and really wants to try he ended up buying a new set up before he paid Ken ( one of the staff) said he could take us across the road and show him a few things in the grass needless to say i do believe a seed has been planted thank you Jacklins and Ken for your outstanding service.

My nephew by marriage and I took a fly fishing float down the Maddison the last week of July 2017. The trip was coordinated by Elk Lake Camp Resort (another local gem) and we found Bob and his guide (29 years of experience) Mark Johnson to be very experienced, knowledgeable, and just all around good guys. I would definitely recommend dealing with Jacklin Fly Fising if you are looking for good fishing and a good guide in the West Yellowstone area.
