Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend this Law office to my worst enemy. I was looking for representation in my child support case and decide to go with The Law Office of Jason R. Carpenter. Kristin came to the conference unprepared and didn't provide any input at all. She was completely useless. After the conference my wife and I had some questions and reached out to her. I took me 3 to 4 phone calls over a week to finally get a 1/2 hour phone conference set up with her. After the call she was supposed to research some information and get back to me in two days. She never got back to me. I had to do the appeal myself which was 2 weeks after the phone call ( talk about customer service) Then I decide to end the relationship for the reasons mention above and requested my retainer fee back. They stated they needed 14 days to review the issue and they would get back to me. After about 30 days I reach back out to them via email with of course with no response from them. About a week or so after I reach out via email I received a letter from the law office stating they are sorry for the result of the case, blah blah. Once again they failed to pay any attention because my complaint had nothing to do with the outcome, but the fact that they didn’t do their job, at all. Then proceed to give me a check for 14.80 out of $1,500.00. So, they are saying a 1/2 phone call, 1 hour meeting, and a 45 minute conference was $1,485.20. I ask for a detail bill and to this day I still have not received the bill I requested. These people are flat out thieves. They seem nice, but are lazy and untrustworthy.

I would like to Thank Jason and every single person in that office, Not only did they do an outstanding job in court they also kept me calm and reassured me all would work out fine. They were worth the money and I would go back to them anytime I need an attorney!

Liar. Steals your money. Does not do the work he promises. Not sure how he is still in business. He represented me in divorce and I still do not have my decree because I quit and he kept it. Only cares about getting money up front and forgets his clients that are waiting for help. I am surprised that he is even still practicing!!!!

Verbally harassed me about how I needed to be dressed nicer and more professional. Sexualized me and other women when we went into a consultation. Told me that I could not wear glasses because it was unprofessional and rude. He won’t even wear a tie or a jacket to court. Can’t take care of business and will not last long in this business. He looked like a slob with his zipper undone and his shoes off. Takes personal phone calls in consultations and doesn’t care if he wastes your money.

Jason's knowledge and expertise proved incredibly valuable at a time when I needed someone to help me with my divorce. He is patient but knows the best way to get the best result. Plus he works with veterans so I will continue to utilize his services once I am ready to call on him once again!
