John F. King is a superb attorney. He took our case with hardly any notice and achieved results right from the start. He is thorough in addressing our questions and never talks down to us even when we’ve made a mistake or ask the same questions twice. He is a patient and keen listener as demonstrated by his targeted responses and recommendations. His hourly is about average in the local market - and cheaper than some we’ve seen. Regardless, John’s services are worth every single penny because when you have hired him then your case is handled by a seasoned and highly skilled professional. The billing contract we signed was not in ‘legalese,’ but in plain English which anyone can understand; it has been followed exactly. We have had no problems with billing - our invoices have been accurate and fair and, sincerely, so has the price.
His secretary, Debbie, is the sweetest lady who listened with a caring ear to our story when we first called. She did not cut us off or say, “it’s not my job to hear the story, you have to pay for a consult.” Instead, she listened the whole way through and expressed sympathy with us. Further, her exact words were, “If anyone can take care of this, John can!” And she was right.
We wasted our money with other attorneys before we found John F. King. Don’t make our mistake; call him first. We intend to keep him on ongoing retainer when this case it through.

I enthusiastically recommend John F. King if you are in the market for an honest, fair, ethically sound, and reliable family law attorney. Mr. King was always available- regardless of the time of day or day of the week to assist and guide me through one of the most challenging and stressful times of my life. He doesn't waste time, as he operates quickly and efficiently in order to help you move on to the next chapter of your life. While other attorneys might be unreachable after hours or on a weekend, John is willing to sacrifice his personal time help you during your time of need. Each step of the legal process is explained thoroughly and he candidly offers his opinions of the pros and cons of decisions prior to allowing his clients to make foolish mistakes. As a man with 25+ years of specializing in this business, his knowledge of the law is without question. I can rely on him to tell me what I need to hear as it pertains to trends in today's world of divorce, custody, etc. His prices are fair and his staff receives an A+ for their professionalism, work ethic, and dedication.

The website says, “If you are frustrated by continual delays, afraid of getting a bad custody deal or concerned about giving up a lot of your income to support payments, we can help. Sensitive to your needs and goals, The Guy’s Attorney will always be on your side.”
This is pure, rich, steaming, unadulterated BS. Michael Gleeson contributed beyond measure to my frustration with continual delays and did NOTHING. Months went by, and Michael Gleeson did NOTHING. He advised me not to attend the support hearing, so I ended up paying $5,600 a month, which Michael Gleeson thought was a great deal because of her “various maladies.” Never mind the fact that she claimed she couldn’t work without a shred of evidence (all that is required is a single page statement signed by a doctor). Still paying $5,600 a month. Thanks, Michael Gleeson.
This is a law firm that mails a $400 F-350 key in a plain #10 envelope, with no tracking, no signature verification, and no apartment number, although I gave him the complete address. Is this normal practice for a legal firm? I suspect not. Who would suspect the John King law firm would mail something important in this manner? Was it “take your child to work day?” But the “Experienced Harrisburg Area Divorce Lawyers For Men” mailed an expensive key to a client without even tracking it. Oh Michael, thanks for the credit to my $6,000 legal bill. FYI I never received the key, but I did receive the empty shredded envelope.
When the plaintiff’s lawyer did not respond for several months to Mr. Gleeson’s emails or letters, what did Mr. Gleeson do? NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING. He was apparently fine with me paying and continuing to pay $5,600 per month of delay. By the way, that works out to $167 a day. Yes, Michael Gleeson at the John King Law, I am “frustrated by continual delays.”
The John King Law Firm web site states “We know how important it is for a husband or father to choose the right divorce attorney.” I categorically agree with that statement, with the caveat that the John King law firm’s Michael Gleeson is emphatically not the “right divorce attorney.”
Discovery? What’s that?
Evidence that she can’t work? What’s that?
Appeal? What’s that?
If you enjoy paying vast amounts of money for zero results, then go with the John King law firm who specializes “Guiding Men Through Spousal & Child Support Matters.” They will take your hand and gently walk you through the process of financial evisceration while doing NOTHING.
Honestly, you could do better by hiring a pre-law college freshman who reads John Grisham.
