Being designated Executor of an estate can be a daunting task if your not experienced, to say the least. Fortunately for me, after researching many local firms looking for someone to help me settle my late Mother's estate I chose Spesia & Taylor. After driving by this beautiful law office for many years and receiving a referral from a friend/coworker regarding legal guardianship/estate planning for my elderly mother who was recently diagnosed with dementia, I scheduled a 730 am consultation with Mr. Bradley S. McCann on June 11, 2019. I was prompt and he was hurried. I had hoped this meeting would go well, but I could clearly see this attorney either has too heavy of a caseload, heavy personal life caseload, or he’s really unprofessional. Whatever the case, as of today, July 10, 2019 I still have not received contact. It was wrong to have me share my personal and sensitive concerns regarding my elderly mother and what I felt was her unique situation and not follow through with the email/call I was told I would receive the following day regarding fees.
I’m not sure if the partners or other attorney’s in this building operate on this level of unprofessionalism and disrespect, but this is my message to Mr. McCann and those that share his integrity and work ethic. If you have race issues particularly with African Americans in this case, elderly, or a misjudgment of one’s financial status, maybe you should consider another career choice because this behavior is not only UNWARRENTED, it is UNACCEPTABLE. I pray you and your family never receive the disrespect you have shown me towards mine. I do not recommend this firm or this attorney.

I used the services of Bradley McCann as a benefit of my Hyatt Legal Program at work to take care of my mother in law's estate. Our attorney seemed great at first and was willing to meet us on a weekend and have us great information. He said he would take care of something that Monday for us while the of the heirs was in town so we wouldn't have to mail forms to him and then we didn't hear back from him for about 2 weeks. He consistently responded late, missed things that I had to correct him on (I'm not an attorney), tried to refuse to do a closing on a Friday because he "doesn't do that" even though he didn't have everything ready the day the closing was initially set for anyway. Then without asking us he decided that we should have to pick up a check for the proceeds of the home sale (we weren't able to attend the closing) rather than doing a wire transfer because HE doesn't like paying transfer fees even though it's a trip hour round trip for us to get to him to pick the check up. Then he charged us a fee for his services even though he told me initially that the Hyatt plan would cover it. After I emailed him to complain about these things he said everything went smoothly and he has no idea what I'm talking about. We had complaints from both realtors, the buyers attorney and each of the heirs who had to deal with him.
I don't know about the other legal services provided, but absolutely do not come here for estate services. I would rather have paid someone than get the "free" services from this insurance that I had to pay for anyway.
I have hired excellent attorneys from this insurance before and will be reporting this incident to them as well.
