I contracted with Durante, Bock & Tota in July on a property for which I was appointed executor. I found this firm via Martindale Hubbell and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I chose them because Daniel Tota was rated with a strong legal ability and high ethical standard by the peer review rating and the firm was accredited by the BBB, A+ rated and had no complaints filed. I am more than quite pleased with the work they performed.

My real estate closing was anything but atypical in that there was an improperly recorded Satisfaction of Mortgage by a bank which collapsed during the 2008 financial crisis. This error required meticulous research, contact with multiple banking institutions and eventual contact with the FDIC by Kevin Theofield to gain proof of this mortgage satisfaction and removal of the lien from the property.
