Anyone with a work related injury feels intimidated and really no place to turn for guidance or someone who cares! Art and Teresa are the absolute epitome of human beings that truly care and aren't all about the almighty $$$$. I could write an 18 paragraph review expressing my gratitude but I will say!!! My husband had a previous work injury from 2013, that was taken care of completely from workmans comp. In 2016, his L5 S1 reherniated and it became an aggravation, we tried to open our claim back up and was able to until we were denied it being an aggravation at the beginning of 2017, not knowing what way to go or who can help us we started researching lawyers and Art Stevens took our case. It has definelty been a long road and we are still going through the motions, but Art won our case and or claim has now been accepted and taken care of. He is very knowledgeable in his profession and we are very happy and greatful for all his hard work. His secretary, Teresa has just been wonderful with me and I appreciate all her help. I will never trust a lawyer again. It all started with black,chapman, and weber. A few years ago I hired this firm to represent me. They initially said my case was worth 6 figures. When it started getting tough, they bailed. Unless it's an open and shut case, this firm will not take it to court. They pushed me into settling the case. Then I signed an agreement with them for 25%. I got a settlement for 20,000 out of that I received all most 12,000 the most they should have gotten 5.000. The firm took over 8,000 from me. The way they do this is, they split up your settlement. Give you 5200 then 5200 then they give the rest at 1,300 I had already signed the check and gave it back to them. Never take a split up settlement. Nor hire hire this firm.
