The process went smoothly with very little stress because I always felt well informed in regards to what was happening or what was needed. The super friendly staff always made going into the office comforting.

I was incredibly impressed with Avery law. They had wonderful communication with me. When I first contacted them, I was in tears with all of the stress. They really reassured me and were helpful with my concerns and questions. When I met with the trustee, I felt even more impressed with Avery law. There were other attorneys not with Avery representing people. I had the impression they did not prepare their clients and had missing information. I felt extremely prepared with Avery Law. I felt prepared for the questions I was going to be asked and what steps I needed to take. I felt they were very thorough with obtaining all the necessary documentation. There were three other people that Avery represented including myself and all of our documentation was completed for the trustee. Everyone that Avery represented answered the questions asked by the trustee and it seemed as if the others were prepared as well. A friend of mine recommended Avery Law to me and she had only good things to say about them. I am really pleased I went with her recommendation as I felt my needs were taken care of. This is not an ideal situation to be in, but I would recommend them if you ever find yourself needing their services.

Avery law began as a good experience - affordable, friendly, personable - however, having completed our bankruptcy, my wife and I are finding their competency to be lacking.

We had collections that had been paid in full years ago. During the bankruptcy process, we were told that only active debts needed to be approached, and after combing over our credit reports, Avery law confirmed that all our debts were accounted for on the bankruptcy. Now we are starting our credit over with collections levied against us. Additionally, as told to us by the Department of Education, our bankruptcy was filed improperly and disallowed them to continue accepting payments towards our school loans. This forced the school loans into delinquency and has increased the total debt load by $3000.

Finally, after everything else has been said and done, several creditors are seemingly refusing to acknowledge the bankruptcy and Avery Law has left us to fend for ourselves against the banks and credit bureaus.

This has turned into a nightmare. Thank you Avery Law.

Update: Avery Law, 8 months after services were paid-in-full (which covered all bankruptcy replated work) has preemptively sent us a $300 bill for reporting our 2017 tax return to our trustee as required for the bankruptcy. All the while, we are still being haunted by our "outstanding debts."
