Hey there thanks for messing with the life of someone very important to me all because you wanted to be too lazy to return phone calls or speak up in court! You don't get paid to sit around and do nothing! Oh wait...you did get paid upfront....guess that's why it's upfront so you don't have to return any money and can do practically nothing. Do you care about the lives you mess up with your incompetence or laziness? You really need to make things right.

I attained Margery Wakefield for a tremendously frightening family guardianship/custody case. Margery enlightened us with her knowledge of the laws and our family's rights. My family's needs were top priority, and we were treated like a friend and not a number. She was very professional and responsive to our needs. Good to see I'm not alone with the reviews. Here's my story: Due to Ms. Wakefield's complete lack of response plus taking my money and not paying mediator fees, I have now been found in contempt of court. You can't make this stuff up.

Our son needed an attorney to set up some visitation with his daughter. It seemed like it would be an easy case,however, when it came time to plead his case, Ms Wakefield could not stand against the attorney representing the other party. After what seemed like forever, nothing was ever accomplished except money spent and she closed the case and sent the bill.

Although Margery Wakefield was the opposing attorney in our case, we were impressed with her. (We won our case, because we were in the right) but we still wish to hire her in the future.

Would NEVER return phone calls or text messages after initial court appearance. Never filed paper she was supposed to or said she did. Took almost 3 years to FINALLY contract her since she moved into a different building. Went back to court ONCE and has since been unreachable AGAIN! New law firm she works with can't seem to get in touch with her or answers either.... pathetic and I will be filling a grievance with the state bar as well... she should NOT be practicing! Since have hired new representation that's getting her simple job done!

I was caught in the crossfire between her and her ex employer when going through my divorce. By the time she left the firm to start her own firm it was to late for another attorney to help me in my divorce. She was too concerned about starting her new business to put the time needed into my divorce. Ultimately costing me money for no services rendered.
