After my first attorney quit on me, I found Deanna's office and she got my divorce case settled pretty quickly unlike my prior attorney who dragged it out. Deanna has also been very patient and understanding of my financial situation and has worked with me on payments. Even though my case has been settled if I have questions I just email her office and she answers them for me. Overall, she is a great lawyer.

My experience with Deanna Bowen was the best I've ever experienced. Deanna & her staff are professional and they care about you beyond anything I've ever experienced. I can not recommend the Law office of Deanna Bowen enough! We received papers from my ex husband about a post decree issue...it was frankly ridiculous. But even knowing that we were still concerned and worried about the papers coming out of no where. We met with Deanna and she completely eased our fears within the first 10 min. After talking with her and through the whole process her and her entire staff were on top of everything! The communicated with me every step of the way. Everything was resolved in our favor and we felt so comfortable during the process knowing that we were in excellent hands the whole way. If you need an attorney then you need to hire a Deanna and her office. They are OUTSTANDING! We Recommend them 100%!

I'm in tears as I write this. Her price for phone calls are absolutely outrageous, she would bill for "meetings" at her office she does amongst her staff without me knowing that ended up costing so much, several many times within months, meetings for what?? Discuss world domination????! jesus. I had such a basic case with no large sums of money or properties involved! I'm absolutely defeated. I truly wanted to believe she was doing the best for the duration of this until her services ended, which started off great and I was happy! but my total experience says otherwise. I am someone who is WELL UNDER THE POVERTY LINE, I reached out to Mrs. Bowen with the hopes she be reasonable based on my situation. My bill for a year long case that could have been half the money somehow racked up to somewhere around approx $45,000+!!! And still hardly have any of what I was supposed to get.. looking at this number gives me a headache.This is outrageous!! I have been told by so many people to open my eyes because this was in fact way too much for whats been done. I cannot express it any better! I DO NOT EVEN MAKE THIS KIND OF MONEY IN A YEAR! oh my god help me. It's INSANE!! I am BROKE right now!! I have 3+ kids and so many bills. I cant pay what is left of her bill and my life is falling apart. The best part is my case is still not successful and it has hurt me so much I cry all the time it stresses me so much because 1. I'm trying to figure out WHAT the hell I'm going to do to with all this debt, and 2. My case was not even successful I didn't receive what I needed so I also have to figure that out too! I'm poor I cant afford this! My one chance with an attorney at my case has destroyed me and left me off worse, I cant afford this. I am very affected by tthe enormous amount due to pay all throughout this. I am more in debt from attorney fees than what I was supposed to obtain from the case.,, How could you do this to anyone?? And I am so in poverty at the moment!! My life is a mess... Has ruined my life in many aspects, I have had to cut off so many things in my life. I should have known better early. I feel so helpless and destroyed by this. I don't even make that kind of money in one year!!! And now I have so much money to worry about!! I am very disappointed, depressed, sad... and I'm also wondering why I didn't have the same experience all these reviews claim, I wonder if they are even real reviews, for all these perfect 5 star ratings. If so, cheers to you all for a good experience. She was indeed professional and made a strong feminine appearance in court that I enjoyed, however I'm very sad about my experience overall and I don't know why this had to happen to me. I am, simply put, defeated. I'm really, really heartbroken... but still I don't hold grudges, just blessings to you and good things in life to you. I don't understand this situation.. its broken me

I couldn’t be more pleased with the work Deanna and her staff did to bring the sale and purchase of my homes to successful closure. My questions and concerns (and I had many) were answered promptly and clearly in writing and by phone, the correspondence with the lawyers representing the buyers and sellers of my homes protected me and my interests, and the closing went smoothly with explanations of paperwork that helped me to understand every document I was signing. Months after the closing when I had questions about taxes, Deanna continued to work with me. I would recommend Deanna to anyone who is going through the process of buying and/or selling and I would definitely want her to represent me for any of my future real estate transactions.

In my experience Deanna is one of the few straight-forward, honest divorce attorneys around. I've gotten the feeling from previous attorneys that they were more interested in billing hours first, and my case second. Deanna is just the opposite! She will tell you when to fight, when to settle, and when not to worry. And, she knows the divorce laws in IL inside and out.

I have the utmost faith in Deanna, and wouldn't hesitate to use her again. I have no regrets in hiring Deanna and you shouldn't either.

I was 2k miles away during this entire case, but never felt like it because Deanna (and all the employees) are incredibly responsive, regardless of day or time that I needed them. I hired Deanna a few years ago for my divorce. Recently, my ex was harassing me so I called Deanna for some advice. I told her to bill me for my time, but she wouldn’t. Deanna doesn’t always tell me what I want to hear, but she tells me what I need to hear. Since, I’ve been divorced, I’ve met with her several times to help me with problems with my X. She’s always willing to help even though she’s not charging me. She’s always in my corner.

No court case is ever fun or pretty. It gets real ugly real fast, however Deanna and her staff did everything they could to help me feel comfortable and explain everything I needed to know about exactly what step we were in during court for my child custody case. They respond faster then ever even on weekends. They make sure you know all your options and the truth about what they think a judge will say even if it isn't what you want to hear. Her office would try to get matters resolved out side of the court room and keep me updated on if they heard back from opposing console.
Deanna brings a strong female presence to the court room and shows women can be strong and brilliant. If I ever need a lawyer again I will 100 percent be going back with Deanna and her staff, however I do hope to never see them again unless it is outside of the court room! Thanks for being honest and upfront about everything. I am very grateful with the way my court case turned out and while they don't count wins and loses in the court room I can say for a fact my case was a win for them and me!
