A.D.A.M. was very helpful throughout my divorce. They were with me every step of the way through this trying time. They understood what I was going through and was compassionate throughout the entire process.

Not a champion for fathers in divorce. They are more interested in making money off fathers with extensive trials and dragging on cases. I had stated facts and fact based evidence which would help me easily win my potential case and get full child custody, but I will quote a senior attorney at ADAM as saying my strong case "was not good business" Probably too good of a "friendship club" between judges, referees, and lawyers to imply collusion between all and compromise the ethics, integrity, and honesty of several prominent people & prove them guilty of said collusion, tampering with evidence, falsifying transcripts/testimony, libel, slander, disparage while innocent fathers being victimized with bullying, threatening, and intimidation for reporting these facts on said people.

They are not up front about costs.

It has been a pleasure working with Steven Reinheimer at ADAM throughout the divorce process. I have no complaints at all, only good things to say about the services and guidance Steven Reinheimer at ADAM provided me through the entire stressful process. Whenever I had questions or concerns, they were answered. When my ex-wife needed a push to get the ball rolling, ADAM helped.

I was presented with a unique opportunity to take a full-time assignment in China just when I filed for divorce and it presented no problems whatsoever throughout the process due to ADAM’s assistance and guidance. I was still able to pursue career goals while working full time in China and at the same time proceeding with a divorce in the state of Michigan.

To my surprise, I only had to travel back to MI once for mediation through the process and then it wasn’t even mandatory, just recommended.

Tracey was extremely unprofessional and cost me thousands due to her lack of preparation and caring. She even threatened to drop me if I did not agree to the terms of the mediation. My ex was trying to kick our son and myself out before the divorce was final. I had to agree to keep him out of the house until 8:30p.m. every night. I asked Tracey where he was supposed to eat dinner before football practice, her response "tell him to pack a snack." It was such a heartbreaking time and I was blindsided with the divorce. She took full advantage and I walked away with $50,000 less than I should have. If you are reading this I wish you luck. Divorce is not fun.

Nobody ever thinks they'll need a divorce attorney when the get married. It is a brutal realization when the time comes. I will say though A.D.A.M. and Greg Calabrese made this whole situation as painless as it could be. When I had my first sit down with Mr. Calabrese I knew he was a straight shooter, one that will tell you straight but also try to make you understand. Well my divorce wasn't like any other divorce, and when I needed someone to turn to Adam form men was there for me. If you want attorneys to go to bat for you each and everyday than Adam is for you. Women's lawyer's are used to walking all over men and getting what they want, but with Adam that will never be the case nor the outcome. My divorce was messy and my ex never listened to orders, needless to say Adams Attorney Frank Briguglio was there for me every step of the way. The main thing I wanted accomplished was getting my children at least 50% of the time which never happens for men, and guess what he delivered!!! Divorce is a messy and expensive process. I wish I'd attended divorce court prior to getting married; I'm sure things would have been different. I had a good, but challenging, experience with my divorce process. There were several bumps in the road that made the process expensive. By the time the entire process was over, I'd worked with 3 different lawyers. Two left the firm which made me extremely nervous because each time there was some critical court related process. The firm stepped up with a new lawyer each time; of course there was a curve getting up to speed and additional funds. My last lawyer Greg was EXTREMELY good. Greg made the already difficult process easier. Overall the firm will work for you.

Best part was that the ex hugged him after court and asked for his contact information to represent her new husband with custody issues coming up on his end.

Please, do not use this firm(Adam divorce of Southfield)!!!! I was a client of this firm, don’t let them fool you with their response. They rely on commercials to draw you in. They only care about your money. No sooner than I signed the form, they ushered in a partner who was going to represent me. He fell asleep during my first meeting. Let me repeat that, he fell asleep! Looking back, I wish I wasn't so young and scared. I needed someone to trust. Months later, I called to ask why they hadn't served my wife, he forgot. The process was dragged out and it drained me. When I made it to mediation, my wife's lawyer made an offer that was ridiculous, I told my lawyer no and he told me he knew I was out of money and that I couldn't afford to keep fighting. I signed the papers and to this day I feel like I died that day. I lost everything I had to my ex or my lawyer except my house that was under water. My life has never been the same. It's been years and it's still a bitter taste. I am writing this review in hopes to save others from the horror. Trust me, stay away from the big hyped up lawyers who are on the commercials.

So first you hear a really good radio commercial. Next you meet a very professional smooth talker. Next they will do a switch a roo with another lawyer that drags your case and milk you with all the money you are trying to keep from your ex. That will be your story if you hire these bums.

Steven was very knowledgeable of the legal proceedings in my divorce case. He gave me sound advice on how the assets needed to be split up without having to take the case to trial. Steven was very professional and did a great job to work with a demanding opposing counsel to settle the case out of court. Steven made the case much less stressful to deal with espically when helped negotiate my spousal support to more reasonable tearms. Steven also manages his time very effectively.

This firm's radio add says it all. They cost about the same as every other firm. However, if you don't hire them, you could pay a lot more. Honestly, I never expected for it to take as long as it did or cost as much as it did but in the end, it couldn't have been a better outcome. I know I made the right choice in hiring ADAM. The attorney assigned to me, Tracey Kane, was absolutely phenomenal. Always 100% prepared in court, communication was always open and she did not stop until the right outcome was awarded.

I recommend thus firm to anyone that is going through the same or similar situation.

Found this firm to be more of a publicity mill, bringing in clients with advertising and high promises, but doing very little to get actual results. The attorney that I had delayed motions for many months, refused to listen to my take instead pointing to my supposed disability of Asperger's and caring more about the interests of my ex-wife and her attorney, than getting me fair parenting time. It took a year and a half to get limited overnight weekends or any movement on my case. They kept stalling, not returning my messages and finally got annoyed with my continuous follow-up regarding a status to my case. Finally, after six months of delays and me following up, requesting we get things done, ADAM files a motion that was recommended by my parenting coordinator. The firm than promised to address holiday break and vacation time, which should have been addressed by the previous motion and first retainer agreement. The Court Order that requested our Parenting Coordinator clearly specified that we address any issues that we had or any additional time we wanted in the motion partially adopting the recommendation of the parenting coordinator. Instead, ADAM followed my ex-wife's attorneys recommendation to break the parenting time schedule over two motions. The firm requested that I sign and pay a second retainer agreement to complete what they promised to do when I first retained them. They refused to use evidence and pursue evidence that was obtained through CPS and detective investigations. I signed and paid the second retainer agreement and after waiting several weeks to have work done, I followed up and they abandoned the case. The past year and a half was extremely frustrating and costly. I would definitely tell any future clients to beware and maintain caution. I fell for the promises and advertising and lost a lot of money and time.

Look for anyone else but these group of lackeys.

I personally dealt with Greg and he made it very easy to understand what my options were and the process that was going to take place. Short Version- Expensive but worth it.

Long Version- Greg was amazing from start to end. He was always extremely candid with his remarks. His instructions on what to do, when to do it were phenomenal. Greg showed great punctuality, immediate responses to all of my emails (even the ones I sent after business hours). While the case didn't go perfectly the way I wanted it Greg made sure it went the best that it could given the conditions. Yes it was expensive, yes it took what felt like an eternity but I would not have not gone with anyone else and I hope Greg knows that his efforts effect everyday of my life here on out and I am truly grateful for his work.

Going through any court matter is never a pleasurable experience. Thankfully I had a very knowledgeable and experienced attorney, Gregory Calabrese. Greg was able to help me get 50/50 custody of my children & child support reduction of over several hundred dollars a month! Greg did some amazing detective work to prove my ex was hiding a large amount of income. He even helped save me money by advising me on how to represent myself to get a falsely obtained PPO removed and placed on my ex, which worked! Attorney fee's where expensive, but I would rather pay now, than for the next 12yrs.

These people treated my husband like he wasn't worth anything Because he didn't make as much money as they do, they didn't help him at all try to get more parental rights, he paid $100 for a consultation & they only talked about how much it would cost him, never discussed how they could help him in court. Gave him no advice. It was a complete waste of time and money

Make sure you shop around for attorneys. My ex-wife and I agreed to everything in mediation and spent no additional money for court. A "simple" divorce if you will. This firm wanted $7,500 up front for my divorce. I foolishly paid them up front and they not only spent every penny, they then sent me a bill for an additional $400. Thankfully, they agreed to forgive half of it and I only had to pay $195. My divorce cost me $7,800 in total (plus the consultation fee) and we went to the court twice for an hour each time. I never spoke to my attorney over the phone. I never met her until the first court date. The email correspondence was minimal as well. The attorney is not there to advise you. They are there to sign the paperwork and tell the judge you want a divorce. Overall, not a good value for your money.

I hope this helps someone out and you don't make the same mistake I did.

Worst possible experience of my life spent .$24,000 and had to hire another lawyer that actually did the work. The two times we went to court with this lawyer from Adam he was late over an hour. Do not hire the Adam lawyers in my personal experience it was an absolute waste of money. My wife got me fraudulently kicked out of the house. And then I lost about everything.

Very over-priced. I went with ADAM and spent a lot more money than I should have. I should have done more research and gotten prices from several attorneys. I was given a quote of the average case by the attorneys here and I ended up spending over 50% more than their quote. My mistake, please don't follow suit and use their services. One example: I arrived at court only to find out my attorney was not prepared for the court session. Not only did nothing get accomplished that time, but I had to pay for my attorney's time and mileage.

This is just my experience, but if you need someone that will respond to a call, text or email when you need them too, this is the place. My attorney Greg Calabrese was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and very much on MY SIDE. He didn’t miss anything and was extremely thorough. He did more than I expected. My Lawyer Tracey Kane kept me informed of the best possible outcome for my divorce. She helped me through very stressful mediations to finalize my divorce decree. I am so glad I went to Adam, I now have full physical custody of both my minor children, and it is all thanks to her and her team. When you receive a letter in the mail from your ex's attorney, your world comes to a screeching halt! Your mind is working overtime as you try to make sense of the legal jargon before you. I could ill afford the money to fight the motion but as it was my children's future with me at stake, I had no choice but to hire an attorney. So I took the plunge and went to ADAM. My attorney immediately put me at ease and explained what was going to happen. My ex wanted to change the parenting schedule and her attorney used dirty tricks to make their case. On my own I would have drowned in the experience, but with ADAM at my side, with their experience and knowledge, they quickly got my ex's attorney to back down and dismiss her own motion. The parenting schedule set in the Judgment of Divorce remained unchanged.

They will charge you for everything and not allow you to do anything to limit what they can charge to your retainer. Furthermore, they don't have the time to commit to your case. Was kept waiting for almost an hour. During the initial interview Steve argued with me on my position with regards to HB4691 and why their firm is against it. Only thing I can speculate is they are against it because it would take clients away from them who would otherwise get an equal amount of parenting time. Which is sad that a firm that says it fights for Father's Rights would be against a House Bill that would help grant an equal amount of parenting time for Fathers. He also had to look-up things several times in the law books that you would assume someone who practices family law would know. Go somewhere else to spend your money and get yourself an educated and experienced attorney that actually cares about your rights and not just your money.

They were there every step of the way with all the help, knowledge and support I could need. They really made it a much much less painful process.

FIND ANOTHER FIRM. They don't specialize fighting for mens rights, your ex will have 2 firms on her side, no strategy, no plan, all you will hear is you are the man, you get screwed. Couldn't reply to motions with more then one liners. Performance in court, couldn't get a word in. Deposition was a waste if time, ill prepared. Mediation, didnt have a clue how to go about negotiating a deal. When it came to kids couldn't advise on anything. Find your self another firm. Final paperwork took over a month for the first draft, had to get all the partners involved to get an initial draft. Left a message for the partners and never even got a call back. Spent over 60k in fees with them.

My friend recently visited this law firm because he is going through a divorce and facing custody issues. They did not help him feel any better about his situation, they spoke to him for about 15 minutes and then charged him $95. It was a huge waste of time and money. He is scared and was looking for some actual information and knowledge and they gave him squat!

I was recommended to check them out for my husband. Unfortunately, it was terrible. I've never in my life met a lawyer who actually condoned and made excuses for child abuse. I left the office feeling sick to my stomach. Never again will we ever waste money on a consultation, nor will I ever recommend them. Maybe the other ones were better, but who we saw definitely wasn't there to help fathers.

Worse lawyers! do not make a mistake. They're the best at collecting and charging make no mistake about that. Don't get fooled by fancy office furniture, these ppl are bums! They say they have been in business for 30 years but what they don't tell ya is the original founders no longer work there. You are better off looking at the yellow pages and finding a small local lawyer.

Great firm. The law team that worked with me seemed to genuinely care about my situation and approached my case with professionalism and integrity. The law firm was very easy to remain in contact with and answer any questions I may have had. They aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination and one of the more expensive firms I investigated when I sought legal representation.
