Terrible attitudes over the phone

I was a client of Sterling Attorneys for close to two years. I would highly recommend the firm to anyone who is involved in an employee/employer dispute. Ray, Jim and Dawn were absolutely stellar from the beginning to the end. While screening for lawyers, I wanted someone who was genuinely invested in my case (vs just collecting fees), well versed in legal disputes, honest and through and doesn’t fear dealing with “Goliath” in these often David vs Goliath type of cases. I can confidently say Ray and the entire team at Sterling Attorneys are all that and then some.

At all times Ray had my best interests in mind, combed over in great detail every aspect of my case and yet didn’t sell me a dream. I work in a very specialized industry and Ray made sure he felt comfortable with all aspects of my situation (both industry as well as personal). He was very candid about the pros and cons of my case. As the legal process takes time and goes through a lot of unexpected twists and turns, he was well prepared and offered the best possible legal counsel.

Jennifer Lord and then Ray represented me as the plaintiff on an especially adversarial employment law case with some unimaginable twists & turns where the defendants tested the patience of the court and came to the brink of bench warrants for their contempt. The process took 2 years and I finally prevailed with the best we could do under the circumstances. I was naive in the beginning, then thoroughly discouraged and vulnerable in the middle. The firm's experience in such matters allowed them to lift me up and persevere as they just plowed through as they knew the games being played. It's a shame that unscrupulous business people exist and go to extremes with obfuscation regarding truth in terms of shades of gray; but thank goodness there is a firm like Ray's to represent people trying to get a fair resolution.
