Matthew Morrow is the attorney that assisted me and when I say nothing but professional service is what he offered me that's an understatement. Honestly I was nervous at first because I didn't think he would take my case seriously, but then came Matthew Morrow . Not only did he handle my case, but he handled it with a sense of urgency and didn't overcharge or take advantage of me. I look forward to working with Matthew Morrow in the near future. Carmen did a fantastic job representing me in my divorce! She was always accessible and made the process go as smoothly as possible. Start to finish took about 3 months and I couldn't have asked for a better team helping me out.

Complete waste of time. The lawyer sat across from me and provided no information specific to my issue. Being a certified parrelagal I find this very unacceptable. I had to take time off work in addition to traveling so this initial consolation wasn't free as far as I'm concerned. They refused to have a over the phone consolation. I'm guessing this was more of an interview for them than a consolation for me. What a joke.

How does someone go about choosing an attorney? I asked friends for referrals, used Google reviews, and when making my decision to work with Schwartz Law Firm essentially took a leap of faith. Fortunately for me the experience exceeded my high standards.

Carmen Moyer was very accessible, completed work in a timely manner, and perhaps most importantly explained the thought process to me in a manner that balanced the fact that I am a layperson with the reality that I possess reasonable critical thinking skills. Carmen also communicated my position in a way that reduced the possibility of adversarial developments with my counter party. In the short run this very likely reduced the cost I incurred for Carmen to represent me-but in the long run made me a customer for life-and one who would strongly recommend Schwartz Law Firm to my closest friends and family.

My case was tough and had many tricky points in regards to child custody. As a father it is hard to receive rights in Michigan. It's even harder when your a father living out of state trying to have rights to your child living in Michigan. The process is hard to do from a different state. If it wasn't for Carmen Moyers being my attorney, I don't think I could have done this. I Hired Schwartz Law Firm to represent me after my sons mother took me to court trying to get a court order for full custody of our son. I was seen for a consultation in early January of 2015. I ended up meeting with Mary Mahoney at Schwartz law firm. I presented my case, and I wanted to know her opinion on if we could win. She ended up taking my case. Long story short. She never followed up, she wouldn't return my emails, she would return my calls. After months and months of being ignored I went to the lead attorney Mr Schwartz. I told him what happend. He brought be to the law firm and told me that I didn't have a case. So after months and months the of thinking I had an attorney backing me up, he apologized on her behalf and told me to have a nice day. What she did was highly unprofessional. She should have never taken my case. I think she knew I didn't have a case, but she wanted to make money off of me. She kept lying about where she was at with things, and she would never follow up with me. I would never recommend this lawfirm. Even though Mr Schwartz was upfront with me about what happend, Mary Mahoney lied and deceived me. It took me months to calm down, and even now I am still hurt that I was taken advantage of for nearly a year.

I can't say enough how great the service was that I received from Schwartz. From the initial conversation to the final settlement and after, the communication, response to questions, and personal attention to my case was fantastic. For a firm that I assume has numerous clients, it was impressive that every time I came to the office, I was greeted by name at the front desk.
