My case was brought to the Steinberg Firm and held for months before I was told about the “Open and Obvious” doctrine. I expressed my uneasy feeling of how I was being handled to Mr. Steinberg and was basically pushed back to Franci Silver, who gave me the feeling of the most uneasiness, I felt that she was not working in my best interest from the start because of something she said to me that I questioned to Mr. Lee Steinberg personally and directly. He assured me that she would be the best attorney to represent my case and now I believe that she was not after the statute of limitations is nearly up. I was told that I should not gain from being injured, but the Law Firm gains from any settlement that is negotiated on my behalf. How contradictory!!! My foot was almost severed and left hanging by only skin and I never heard of the statutes quoted until I was pushed into a settlement agreement. Now, I’m left impaired for life with basically no compensation because of delayed information and what I feel was bigotry. I felt that the representation didn’t want me to truly be compensated for anything, I know that my medical expenses were not negotiated in totality nor my pain or suffering. I feel that I was not given the best representation that I could have been given and that information was withheld that was crucial to my decision to retain the Lee Steinberg Law Firm. In a word, wow. Eric Steinberg handled my case. In all of my interactions with Mr Steinberg he was extremely pleasant, empathetic, patient, respectful and understanding. When I needed to hear unfiltered straight-talk, he was also was very tactful about conveying the information. Notably, despite being very personable, when he needed to battle the insurance company Eric showed me his other side; an experienced, expert-level tough litigator, negotiator and advocate who's not afraid to fight for you and demonstrated those abilities very clearly in his handling of my claim.

He navigated my personal injury situation with the upmost care, expertise, professionalism and confidence. When there were questions and concerns about the process, communications were great. Whenever any of those concerns arose, an email response or call would follow in a very reasonable time frame. While the process was not as quick as one might hope, it was the insurance company that was at fault for any delay. Despite that, Eric was persistent and stayed the course unrelentingly and never wavered from his initial impressions of my case.

When it came time to start working towards a resolution, communications with Eric and his team in the office always were timely and kept me abreast of any new developments and upcoming meetings. The result of his hard work was a mutually amicable resolution to my claim concerning all parties involved.

While it is unfortunate that people may find themselves in an injury situation (with someone else at fault and an insurance company in the middle), it is good to know there is someone out there who will advocate for you, get you just compensation for the pain, suffering and inconvenience one experiences along with serious injuries.

While my body may never be the same, my medical bills associated with the injury are taken care. My time lost in months of physical therapy, the physical pain and the entire ordeal of the situation was compensated fairly, thanks to Mr. Steinberg. Additionally he was able to negotiate the settlement out of court, I didn't have any personal "beef" with the insured, my beef was with their insurance carrier so saving everyone the trouble of a courtroom situation was important to me (though he would've gladly taken the case to trial if need be).

Insurance companies do not have an injured party's best interests in mind and don't ever forget it. Don't EVER communicate with them directly, they will try to take advantage of you. Their goal is to pay the least amount on any claim. Eric was able to hold them to account (despite moves they made to delay or prevent paying a settlement), make them fulfill their obligation to the insured party and settle my claim.

Cannot recommend highly enough! the Lee Steinberg team should be the FIRST (and last) law office you contact if you need representation in a personal injury matter. Period. End of story.

I injured myself at work to the point my finger was damn near aputated joints ligaments veins nerves bones were ripped apart..I'm out if surgery now and was told that I may never be able to move my finger ever again.
