I can’t say enough wonderful things about this law firm. In September of 2017 I was permanently disabled, I worked for New York State as an MC employee and had an additional disability policy from MetLife to cover me if I became disabled. After months and months of paperwork & several letters from my doctors MetLife still denied my claim. My husband had searched out law firms and phoned the E. Stewart Jones, Hacker, Murphy firm and was given an appt to come in.

Most law firms only handle Workman Comp or Social Security cases but not this law firm. We literally went to see them with less than two weeks before the appeal was due. The firm not only prepared my appeal in a timely manner but within 30 days I had won my appeal and received a large lump sum of money due to me for the 6 months that Metlife refused to pay to me. The firm, especially David Iversen and John Harwick which are the attorneys who met with my husband and I on my case; offered me the most respect, kindness, understanding & dedication to my case anyone could ever ask for. I work with this law firm regularly regarding injured clients. They always have done excellent work and seem to be willing to fight a bit harder than most for their clients.

We were looking for a very skilled litigator as we moved closer to our business dissolution court date. We found John Harwick online in a search for litigators and he was certainly the right choice. Any litigation is stressful enough and this case was very stressful because the opposing council was extremely unprofessional and should have his license revoked. John made himself available outside of regular business hours for discussion which made private communication easier . To all this is a good story:On a day in 2011 I was in an vehicle accident where there were multiple witnesses and on the spot was determined is was not My fault,.... Has I was brought from the accident in an ambulance to the Hospital ….I put faith in human nature that people would do the right thing, this could not be further from the truth, My employer, insurance companies did not have my best interest in mind, I am not sure what they thought but it was not in my best interest. I had been nice to the insurance and asked them to cover my hospital cost and they declined twice, and this is a quote are you going to force me to get a lawyer with no reply, it was clear what I had to do, contact a law firm. The first law firm with Initials M.H.M gave me a reply nothing they could do, go back to work, and being in pain I don't quite remember how Hacker Murphy, LLP  was brought in the picture but I gave them a call and it was all up hill from there, I was assigned John Harwick attorney at law and could not be more pleased he was the most professional attorney that I could have through the hole process I gained respect from insurance companies, attention from My employer. That this was no joke!
Though the deposition advice from John Harwick everything went smoothly and never better and could not have went smoother the settlement is not what was what I was after, it was much more than I expected Hacker Murphy, LLP IE.
