Fees are very reasonable and they make the whole process very simple from the first phone call.
Thanks again Rakesh and Ken
His tenacity and impressive work ethic kept him from accepting the courts initial offers that still included points to my license and held out for the best result possible for my case.
I am extremely satisfied with the costs and results of his services and cannot thank him enough for helping me out of a bad situation.
Thanks again Rakesh
Everything seemed frustrating and expensive...until I crossed paths with Rakesh at
Ken McCauley's office. Not only was Rakesh friendly and professional, but he was very upfront and honest about how the process was going to work and how he couldn't make me promises, but he had lots of great relationships in the areas around Albany and would be glad to do what he could to help.
4 weeks later, I get an email from Rakesh. Not only did I not need to show up to court, saving me an entire day (where I could work and make money), but save all that gas and wear and tear and on my car. Rakesh did what every true professional should do....Under promised and Over delivered!
He was able to reduce my 6 points speeding down to a ZERO point non moving violation. The fine was also reduced from $350 to $175 and I did NOT need to pay the $300 to the DMV. An all around win!
I would highly recommend Rakesh at Ken McCauley's office to anyone who finds themselves in the same legal predicament that I found myself in this past Memorial Day weekend...
Good luck and Drive safely...
Michael
They delivered all the services promised plus more.
I was stopped for speeding 6+ points and they got my case down to zero points.
They are the best at what they do. 5+ star rating from me as i dont have to worry about my insurance going up anymore.

I could not be more happy with the outcome of my case, if you need lawyer do not think twice about hiring this firm, they were affordable, honest, and worked to get me the best outcome!. Thank you
If you want a lawyer who will put a lot of effort and focus on whatever legal issue you're dealing with, as well as treat you well and help you feel at ease... I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
The Aggravated Unlicensed Operator is actually a criminal charge, and if not handled properly, even though my friend was innocent, he could have had his driving privileges revoked.
Understanding the seriousness of the matter - I proceeded to contact all of the major criminal traffic defense attorneys in the Albany area. None were as receptive, knowledgeable and passionate about my case than the Law Office of Ken McCauley.
The lawyer assigned to my case was a professional throughout the entire process, taking care to educate us about the Albany traffic court system, took his time to answer all of our concerns and maintained proper contact until the completion of the case.
On top of that - the quoted prices for the services were better than the rest.
Here are the results of the case:
Aggravated Unlicensed Operator - DISMISSED.
Speeding in a Work Zone 75/55 (4 POINTS and Double Fines) - Parking Ticket (Fine $100.00, Zero Point, Zero Surcharge)
The results speak for themselves. I could not have been more satisfied with the service and most importantly, the results of the case.
If you are looking for a traffic court or criminal defense lawyer in the upstate New York/Albany area who offers the best bang for the buck, I highly recommend the Law Office of Ken McCauley.
