I had a very poor experience. I have an issue with my sublease and I looked them up on Google and they had 5/5 so I went to their chat option and explained my case for 15 minutes typing. I’ve never written a review of anyone but felt I needed to. My lawyer was so unprepared which ended up costing me THOUSANDS of dollars in a settlement. Convinced me to go to arbitration and ensured me the woman (retired lawyer) was awesome. She was so horrible! Doodled the entire legal meeting and I mean flat out drawing pictures like you would a sophomore in high school... it was so alarming how little she paid attention to anything I had to say. Then she was socially talking to the opposing lawyer. The opposing lawyer, by the way, came in and the first thing she said out of her mouth to the retired judge was how sad she was for her client who was getting a divorce and just had a stroke...meanwhile that is the same person who Smashed into me going 80 miles an hour on the highway and put me in rehab for four years . When we left the room after the meeting, the two of them were alone which I told my lawyer didn’t sit well with me. I voiced all these concerns and I was right in the end. The retired lawyer has the opportunity to ask me questions.... she asked me one and yes I only mean one. She asked me if I hit my brakes on the highway? that was her only question! After four years of medical bills, appointments, permanent damage to my neck and shoulder I walked away with $20,000. Once you go to arbitration you can never step back....it was completely at her discretion but the lawyers convinced me that she was the right option she ended up costing me so much money! With so many lawyers out there I highly recommend you go somewhere else

Amazing at getting you your money have used them twice

Though I have lived a good and honest life, we live in a society where anyone can say anything about anyone at any time. For this reason, I was caught by surprise when I found myself facing a charge of misdemeanor domestic assault and battery, after informing my wife that I wanted a divorce earlier that day. She made up some allegations, in order to get a leg up in the divorce.

In the days after these false allegations, I was fortunate enough to come across Altman & Altman, and specifically, Attorney Steven Goldwyn. From the start, Steven was extremely patient with me, answering my many, many questions about this charge. From the start, Steven believed in me, and in my case, and for that reason, he recommended that I go to trial. Not once did he even entertain the idea of taking a plea deal, even though it probably would have been easier for him.

For over a year, Steven accompanied me to pretrial after pretrial. At each pretrial, he retrieved more information from the district attorney. Additionally, he was always there for me, responding to calls, texts, and emails at all times of the day and night. Often, Steven was more than just my attorney, but also a listening ear, and a friend. I had never been through anything like this before, and Steven always reassured me that everything would work out well, and the truth would eventually prevail.

Finally, on my trial date, Steven showed exactly how skillful he is as an attorney. Steven completely out-prepared and out-performed the district attorney, to the point of embarrassment. Steven found inconsistency after inconsistency in the testimony of my ex-wife. He asked her several details of the alleged assault and battery, to which she had either inconsistent, or no answers. With Steven’s intense questioning, it became obvious that the arresting officer and my ex-wife could not agree on nearly any facts of the case at all. As a result, it became evident to everyone in the room that my ex-wife had fabricated her stories. He completely destroyed the prosecutor’s case, seemingly effortlessly. Though I had spent endless hours thinking about my own case, Steven found ways to pick apart their case that I could not have even imagined. At the end of the day, the verdict was read, and it was not guilty. Even though the entire room expected a not guilty by that point, it was still amazing to hear the words being read.

Steven is a tireless and fierce advocate for his clients. He was there for me during an extremely difficult time in my life, and his confidence in my case always made me feel better. When it came time to deliver in the courtroom at trial, I could not even have imagined the incredible defense that he provided me with. I have a case with them since two years ago and I don’t receive any call or answers from them even when they know that I need a surgery. They don’t fight for my case and when I call the lawyer that have my case never answer the phone or get upset because I call a lot of times.

In the summer go 2016 I was hit while making a left turn when the other driver tried to beat a red light. I was driving a brand new Volvo sedan the dealership loaned me while my car was in the shop.
She was driving an SUV, accelerated through the intersection and T-boned me.It was her fault, she admitted it right away and was all apologies and concerned.
The Volvo was totaled, and I was banged up pretty bad.
I went to Altman & Altman and met with Anthony. He was great. He saw it was going to be complicated since I was driving a loaner & 3 insurance companies involved. It was never going to be a big settlement, my injuries were not severe, but they took my case anyway.
Almost a year later and suddenly the other driver's Insurance company decided we were both at fault, and my Insurance company didn't blink. I was very upset, because she was at fault and had even admitted it. And so was my attorney!

This is where Anthony, and then Justin, who took over my case, really came through for me.
They assured me they were in this fight with me on principle, and stuck with me. Justin was awesome over the next 2 1/2 years slogging through depositions and 3 canceled court dates. I honestly think other firms would have said it's not worth it to continue, as it dragged on. Justin stood by me and fought the good fight, until finally the other insurance company settled.He never made me feel like my case was not worth the time.
The fact that they stood by me, and didn't waver meant a lot. I highly recommend this firm. I was treated with compassion and respect throughout.
