Brent Wells handled my SSD case after I'd been denied the first time. He sat on it, I was rejected at least twice more, then I finally called and expressed my frustrations to his assistant because he didn't get back to me.

After that phone call, he called back and suggested I change the onset date of my disability. I had put down my diagnosis date, so he suggested changing the date to the day that I had filed for disability. He said social security might think that I wanted 8 years of retroactive pay. (I didn't.) The date was changed and my disability application was immediately approved. Do you think he could have made that suggestion a year earlier when he received my case...?

Hsi fee was 20% of my retroactive pay, so the longer he dragged my case on, the more money he made. It's a scam. There is no reason to try to settle your case in a timely matter. Brent Wells made that very clear to me. Not with his words, but with his actions. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I would give him zero stars if I could.

Grate experience

I spent 1/2 hour on the phone with one of the lawyers. He's the expert but couldn't figure out till the very end how to correctly help me. When I called back the next day to schedule a follow up call to resolve my issue, he spent 3 minutes berating me about his valuable time rather than just helping me. They are obviously too damn busy to help, but not to belittle. Don't waste your time

Brent Wells took my case from another person but did nothing with it. I asked for more information on how to prepare my case and he refused saying he couldn't "coach" anybody. He didn't bother to give an opening statement or cross examine me during the hearing. These people wait around for slam dunk cases they don't have to do any work on. His assistant is incredibly rude and unable to answer questions but you will get referred to her over and over. After my case was denied he didn't bother to make time for me to go over the case so that I could make it stronger next time, instead he just brushed me off in a letter weeks after he received the denial. There were things missing from my records he didn't notice. I can't recommend this law firm. go elsewhere.

Terrible experience! Manning can't even bother to return phone calls. He completely wasted the last 2 yrs. as he did nothing at all for my case. When it came time to speak with a judge Manning did nothing to support my case, he hardly said anything at all!! That's 2yrs. I can't get back. This is like the fast food of attorney's ......get them in and get them out, if there's any real work to be done forget it! Not going to happen!

Robert Barron spoke very fast and condisendingly. He was not helpful, nor polite. He wasn't willing to do the leg work to work up a good case, but would rather just be called in-time to represent us at the adjudication. This is not an attorney that has his client's well-being in mind, but rather has his profit margin instead.
