I found out that the big firm Mankato lawyers had guys who worked mostly for insurance companies. Those firms’ reputations were built on doing big insurance defense. that didn’t sound like the lawyers I wanted to hire. Turned out Mike Wright at Simmonds & Wright was very experienced handling car accident cases (over 30 years) and the firm doesn’t ever represent insurance companies. Even though our case wasn’t huge, he treated it like it was. We got a good, fair settlement in a reasonable amount of time.
