In Nov 2017 I had to find a criminal attorney for my son. I had no experience or knowledge of any Harrisburg area firms. So on an early Saturday morning in Nov 2017, I googled and read a lot of information. I was overwhelmed to begin with and very worried for my son. I sent inquires to three firms, one being Shaffer & Engle. I expected calls from these firms the following Monday. An hour later, Elisabeth Pasqualini, w/ Shaffer & Engle, called me about my inquiry. I was floored to get a call on a Saturday morning, but relieved to talk to her about my son's case. I liked her immediately - she's no nonsense, no bs, & 'this is how it is' with no sugar coating. Definitely the approach I needed and she took my worry level down a notch or two. We signed on with her firm and 14 months later, we are still working with this firm. We've learned the hard way that the justice system is not quick, and follow up from the local police department is unbelievably slow or non-existent. Elisabeth's partner Jeff Engle got involved in my son's case at one point, as he had more expertise in one area and he was great to work with as well, very responsive and patient with my many 'worried mom' questions. Do not waste your time and money on Jeff. We spent nearly ten thousand on a child custody case with Jeff and that's all he did was make things worse. Child support doubled and he dragged his feet and did absolutely nothing I'm our favor. As far as I'm concerned he robbed us and should pay something back to us. He has no motivation or fight in him. He's just all about the money. Pathetic! Shame on you Jeff! We could have done better representing ourselves....

Highly Recommended! Their secretary answered when i phoned she was very polite and genuinely concerned about my problem and didn't rush.
