I was in car accident few years ago for first time in my life. That being said, it was scary and traumatic, even more so having my daughter in car with me at time. I was unsure of all the steps to take. I knew key things to do at time of accident. Getting a lawyer to protect us was at top of list. Sitting in my living room at midnight going through who to contact was nerve racking. Then a Commerical came on for Carter Mario and I sent an email (thinking it was too late at night to call). To my surprise a representative called me within minutes! He explained everything and set me up with Hartford office. I met with Attorney Fong and Jazmin Cardoso-Lopez. They were very kind and understanding. My first thought was my accident wasn’t extreme enough to take on but I was mistaken. They treated me so well and made me feel that my case was as important as any other. They were always there for any questions or concerns I had. They kept in contact with me continuously with updates and progress. When it came to the settlement Attorney Fong went above and beyond my expectations. He pushed continuously to get me everything I deserve and more. I felt that they truly cared and that it wasn’t about them getting money out of my pain. It was really them helping me. I will never forget that accident that day. Even more, I will never forget how they helped me through it everyday afterward. I hope I don’t have to go through it ever again but at least I know who to go to if it did. Attorney Fong helped in all aspect of the case and was a pleasure to talk with as a person first and foremost. As an Attorney I was even more pleased at the detail and time he used to explain all aspect of the case.

Honestly it was neither here nor there. I did not speak with them much when I went through the process of the lawsuit. When it came down to ask the amount that he was going for he told me the number (100k) and said of course you're not going to get that amount. And I got a lot lot less than I thought. (10k) The accident I was in was not one bit my fault I was rear ended and then the fellow went on to hit somebody else but I took the brunt of the hit. Then, he went around me and hit the guy in front of me. Again, as I said I felt that there really wasn't much work done to help me. Maybe that's me. I don't know. I guess I'm perplexed, because they did something for my son who had an accident that was partially his fault but mostly the other person's fault and My son received 6K ( 3 months after the accident) I was in physical therapy for a year or more.). he didn't even get hurt bad or go to the doctor but 3 times. I know everyone's different. But I really felt that I had a pretty good case So in that respect I feel like they dropped the ball. It's over now but I would say do your homework just because they advertise a lot doesn't mean they're the best..

Overall I am very satisfied with the outcome of choosing Carter Mario. The reason that I am taking off a star is because there were times that the 'team' did not follow their 8-point guarantee. For example, I was supposed to have access to my online account, I never received any of this information. There were weeks that went by, and I never received a phone call or email regarding the status of my case. There were times that I would reach out via email or phone call to see where my case stood and never received a response. Finally, there was supposed to be a team of 4 dedicated to my case, only met 2 people.

Clinton, my case manager, was extremely helpful and I really enjoyed working with him. Lindsey, my attorney, was extremely smart, understanding and helpful throughout the process. I received the amount I was expecting.
