I was hit by another vehicle in 2019. Although the collision resulted in minor damage caused to my vehicle, I did suffer neck/back injuries and immediately went to a walk in clinic where I was prescribed both anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant medications. Shortly after, I began my physical therapy with a chiropractor for approximately 4 months. I began with 4 sessions a week and eventually tapered down to 1 session a week, never missing a single session/appointment.
In the end, my assigned attorney was able to win me ONLY 500 DOLLARS for my case (after fees, ect.), a ridiculously unfair amount, especially when considering I had spent over 100 dollars for my walk in clinic office visit co-pay.
I expressed my dissatisfaction to my case manager, and was essentially told by her that I had no choice but to settle for this amount as the number would not change. It is my understanding that no attempts where even made by the lawyer assigned to my case to renegotiate with the insurance company for a higher settlement.
I consulted with three other legal agencies. Each of which told me that they would have been able to get me more money, and confirmed my belief that 500 dollars was an incredibly low number. One lawyer even told me he was able to win a client of his, who had even less damage done to his vehicle than I had done to mine, "much more than 500 dollars". However, at the stage my case was in, no agency was willing to take on my case, as it would have required them to pay Jonathan Perkins a percentage of the final settlement for the work they had done.
I was not made aware of the name of my representing attorney until the day I signed the settlement papers. While signing the settlement papers, my case manager left the room to make copies and returned not only with the copies, but also with some food in her mouth, and continued to chew as she spoke to me.
I do not like leaving negative reviews in general, but I feel inclined to share my poor experience with the public.
I believe the individuals assigned to my case were not truly invested/ did not adequately represent me, and I regret not having gone to another firm.
I am using a false name as I do not wish to make my legal (real) name public/known.
Angelina is very knowledgeable and very polite. She was always a phone call away. She literally could answer every legal question I had. I highly recommend this law firm to any person that need a personal injury resolved Johnathan Perkins your law firm met every need!

My apologies for taking so long to update this review. In the time that has past since the last update, we were contacted by Jonathan Perkins directly who took note of our complaint and said that he and Wendy would be handling our case from now on.
In the time that Wendy has taken over, she has most definitely continued to stay in regular contact with us as well as proceed with the case. Wendy has been very knowledgeable and a great resource for my Wife and I.
We are still in the process of getting the case resolved, however the experience we received from the prior attorney to our current attorney Wendy is night and day.
UPDATE: 6/1/2016
As of the 5th of May the demand was "re-submitted". Over the course of the last 4 weeks, not once were we contacted with an update to the case. I just got off the phone with the case manager Ken who stated they have yet to submit the demand (again).
At this point i'm requesting all of the case notes (since I supplied all the files...) and am going to another firm to handle this.
ORIGINAL:
My wife was injured in a head on collision due to the other party.
A day after the accident I called the Hartford offices and spoke with a case manager named Jayme who was very responsive at first and really knew our case.
After a few months went by we stopped hearing from the law office all together only to call and find out Jayme is no longer working there and we weren't notified.
Since then we have gone through 2 more case managers and each one seems to have no idea what's going on.
To make matters worse we are at the stage of where we are expecting the demand to be made and the previous case manager stated she had submitted it. When I called in after not hearing for a couple weeks it turned out she is no longer our case manager (i'm sensing a theme here) and she never submitted the demand as stated.
During this entire process, I was one who did most of the leg work for the law office collecting medical information, receipts, police reports, talking to the different doctors and insurance companies.
We have now submitted all the information about the case 3 times and they are asking for it a 4th time...
I would not recommend this particular branch as they are disorganized and appear to have a higher than normal turnover rate on case managers. Communication also appears to be a huge issue with them even though we are in 2016 and a highly connected world.
